When I first went in to this cool shop Bryan and I talked. He actually was very helpful because I am a new grower. He showed genuine interest in my pictures and offered up help anytime and he even gave me books to read for free. He said just bring them back sometime, even if it's a year later. We talked about the hassle I have with carrying gallons of water up the stairs. We also briefly talked about an RO system. When I called back a few days later I was taken back by the employee who answered and said he didn't have time to make an appointment to discuss a system. So I researched myself and bought a great $500.00 system online. While shopping online I also bought about about $400.00 worth of other hydroponic equipment for my next build and grow. I really wish I could have spent the money to help locally. Especially with this crazy virus hurting businesses. I explained to them my tight schedule and that I have to drive 2 hours to their store and need to make an appointment to meet with someone for 15 minutes. If they would have made an effort to make any type of appointment, I would have bought from them first. Even if it was more money, I like to support local small mom and pop shops like this. I am sorry Bryan but I don't think that I'll be shopping there again. I'll bring the books when I finally understand how these advance...
Read moreI grow cannabis for some medical conditions I have. Well... now I grow cannabis. Before I came here I was just growing ditch weed and didn't understand a lot about what's actually required to grow cannabis. I honestly thought it wasn't that hard, because it's called weed for a reason! There's a lot that can go wrong, and I have experienced so many problems that the men at this store helped me to correct. Everything from silvery mold and root rot to fungus gnats. I live right near a lake and run/fish/bike/kayak, so no matter how careful I am I'm always battling whatever is stuck under my fingernails or loose from my hair. And my mistakes were room for growth with them, instead of something to be embarrassed about. They remained professional and insightful through each problem. If it weren't for this group of men I wouldn't have a bloom phase and I cannot thank them enough for their help and support. Oh! If they recommend something to you, please listen. They are the professionals and know volumes to help you. I don't even look at the prices anymore, when you find a treasure you don't put a value on it. But they are competitive with market standards and Amazon. The attached photo is just a short week from harvest. Guess I'll have to bug them on how to trim and cure these! And I know they'll have the best...
Read moreGrow Masters is the best Home Brew supply store that I’ve ever visited. I’ve been brewing for 25 years and have shopped dozens of supply stores and these guys have figured it out. Whether you are just starting out or if you are a bearded veteran this is your one-stop shop. The pros behind the counter can walk you through your first, simple, delicious batch or give you advanced advice on the nuances of yeast ranching, forced carbonation, weaving ingredient profiles, or how to expand your rig in the most economical way. They have the largest variety of grain options anywhere. I’ve never had to substitute one hop variety for another because their stock of pellets and whole cones are always full. I’m a huge fan of the “help-yourself” organization of their shop. They’ve helped me several times when I was recipe-stumped but other times I’m able to walk in, get to work filling my grain bill, and leave knowing exactly what is in my bag. I would much rather fill my own grain bill in a store then have someone else do it. Just yesterday they helped me locate and fix the leak in my kegging system. I pass another brewing supply store on my way to Grow Masters because I honestly believe that the people behind the counter and the quality of their merchandise makes me a...
