Logan’s House Dog Daycare & Grooming — Local services in Gurnee

I would strongly NOT recommend this place. The staff does not care about all the dogs equally. My dog was cut during the grooming process and I e-mailed the manager - she never responded. He had patches of hair that were not cut! I requested for a refund since my dog had cuts on him and only then did I hear back from the owner. All to hear that they refused to give me a refund for really bad service and customer service. The owner admitted that I was not the only one experiencing bad service and this wasn't the first complaint. Instead of giving me a refund she demanded for the grooming service to be paid for.

They do not care about dogs or great grooming services. They just care about your money as shown with my experience with them.

There are better places that will give your dog and you a great experience.

Legal documents with the bank shows they responded as "If I am forced to refund that amount for her dog's groom, I will charge what I am entitled to for her late cancellation fee (the full price of her groom).

They were just looking for a way to get money. Instead of promising better services in the future. I would have given them a second chance but by their response. Never.

Do not come to this place because if you have a bad experience they will fight to force you to pay for a horrible service and horrible haircuts. My dog's haircut was uneven and he was cut. He literally had hair in his armpits and paw areas!

They had a chance to prove to the customer their company's values and it has nothing to do with great care for dogs... it is all about money for them. 0 stars!

I will definitely let dog mommas and dog papas know this place is not it. They do not care about your dog having excellent...

UPDATE The owner of this business, Tasha, reached out to me and personally took care of my dog and made my poor experience right. After seeing her go out of her way to make right on my experience, I will give this business another chance, as it is a nice small business to support in Gurnee. Tasha did a fantastic job grooming my dog and fixing the mistakes that were made. ** Upsetting experience. I had an appointment for my dog to be groomed at 9 am. Originally was told the appointment would last an hour to an hour and a half. The day I arrived to drop her off, was told they were running behind and it would be a couple of hours. I called at 12:30 pm to see how my dog was doing because I hadn’t heard from them, and was informed she was just starting to be groomed, 3 1/2 hours after the time I had scheduled for an appointment. What’s the point of an appointment time if that happens? The prices are very reasonable, which I liked and was a reason to go with Logan’s House, as I love supporting local small businesses. I paid extra for a deshedding shampoo and deshedding “treatment” for my dog. Complete waste of money. I understand she sheds a lot, Australian Shepard/English Setter mix, but after this supposed “treatment,” there was literally no difference made. In reference to the grooming part, there were a number of mistakes, that conveniently weren’t able to be fixed because by the time I picked her up the groomer had left for the day. I recently took my adorable puppy, Oreo, to Logan House for a grooming session, and I have to say, it exceeded my expectations! From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and genuine friendliness. Their attentive approach immediately made me feel reassured about leaving my pup in their care.

The groomer & Tasha (Owner) is exceptionally skilled and handled Oreo with the utmost gentleness. I was particularly impressed with the way they took their time to understand my preferences and concerns, ensuring the grooming process reflected my wishes. After the session, Oreo looked adorable with a fresh, and the pleasant fragrance made it clear that he had been pampered thoroughly.

The grooming facility itself was immaculate and had a welcoming ambiance. It was clear that they prioritize cleanliness and comfort for both pets and their owners. A nice touch was the variety of tips and advice the staff provided for maintaining Oreo's grooming at home, which I found very helpful for keeping him looking his best between visits.

Overall, I cannot recommend Logan House highly enough for pet grooming services. Their combination of excellent customer service, professional grooming skills, and a warm environment sets them apart. I’m already looking forward to our next...
