I purchased a suit jacket and pants separates a tie and a shirt all PU for my mothers service I looked them up online as my brother from Texas asked me what I was wearing so I was going to show him a picture I happen to find out if you purchased a jacket pant tie in shirt online or in store it was on sale for $350 they also had separates deal of jacket regular 199 on sale 149.99 pant separate normally $99.99 on sale for $59.99 I came to pick up my suit today I just tried it on as I could see my socks all the way around my leg between my dress pants and dress shoes I was told that is the correct fit now keep in mind my mother's service is in 2 days I told them absolutely not I am not wearing floods to my mother's celebration of life then I asked about why I did not receive the sale price they told me it was online only I showed them a picture of a screenshot then I was told that is a different suit after I had already asked one of these sales gentlemen if it was a slim fit he explained to me no it is modern fit and again when I was told that it was only for certain suits and online I was also told it was only modern fit suits not slim fit at that point I do not have time to argue I have a lot going on as I am hosting my mother's celebration of life hopefully they will have my suit the correct length by tomorrow evening the earliest I can pick it up when I need to be at the church at 8:45 a.m. the following day Men's Wearhouse is the only place I buy my suits from normally but usually I am in Vernon Hills this is the gurnee store which I will never visit again one more thing I forgot to mention when I did go in to try on suits with my daughter the manager helped us and when we did not like the first two ties he set out he walked to the middle of the store and completely ignored us like he was pouting so the deal for $350 for the exact suit that I purchased plus shirt and tie I was charged $468.77 not a very classy move under the circumstances I was overcharged $118 plus dollars for my mother's funeral needless to say I will be purchasing my suits elsewhere...
Read moreMen's Warehouse added an absurd amount of stress to my Brother's wedding. 10 of us were fitted by this location at 3 different times, 7 of us had to return for fitment issues within 72 hrs of the wedding. From damaged shirts, to pants being too short, to the shirts being way too small by multiple sizes, we had an array of issues. I don't know if I could ever return to this location and have confidence that we would be fitted correctly. If it was 1 or 2 people I likely would not leave a review as that could be contributed to maybe weight fluctuation or a random mishap. I personally had a button hole on my shirt that was ripped enough to where the button would no longer stay fastened, and my pants thighs were too tight even though I specified to the gentleman who did my fitting that I need to size up. Another groomsman's pants didn't even reach his ankle bone they were so short. The Groom's vest did not fit. Multiple people had wrong sized shirts. Overall it was just a mess causing unneeded stress due to extra trips back to MW and day of the event trips to pickup the replacement items. My Brother, one of the groomsman, stated that when he went in for his issues, he was treated poorly by the middle age man who made it seem as if the improper fitting attire being returned was an inconvenience to him. The only positive of the ordeal would be the way Lucas handled the issues and provided options to expedite the re-order of the improper fitting items when he realized that there was issues with nearly the entire...
Read moreIâd rate 0 stars if I could. First off, I went in with a small group (dad, brother, nephew) for soon to be brother in laws wedding rental. The young man that helped us was very rude and cut us off when asking a simple question about helping my nephew, but we all got sized so that was all that mattered. Then, we went to try on our orders and everyoneâs sizes were incorrect and my nephew was told he couldnât even get the correct size pants and jacket for his tux (that was the same individual that sized us originally and also started yelling at us when we asked to speak to a manager). We eventually did and someone else was able to find a tux to order for him. We all got released and marked for alterations.
When we picked up the day before the wedding, 3 of the four tuxedos were still chalk marked and not altered. I ended up fixing two tuxedos the night before the wedding in the hotel room.
The groomâs pants were still the wrong size (not that they needed to be altered, but an incorrect smaller size was ordered and given). We were told for the groom that they could get him suit pants and glue a tuxedo stripe to them. Eventually we found a pair at another MW location. The hems fell out right before the ceremony requiring the pants to be stapled back together 10 minutes before the wedding itself.
All in all, rude service from the main salesman we attempted to work with and most alterations were not completed or hems fell out. I wish there were...
