I would of given this place a 3 star because it is cute and has nice molds for ceramics. But the lady that works here who didn't even introduce herself or welcome us to the place was not customer friendly and rude. It was my Nieces birthday party..so we came in and no courtesy to say hello or tell us where to go. She literally turned around as we approached the front counter and had gifts in hand. My son noticed his cousin in the small cramped birthday room glass door so we walked in. Note if you have more than 10 kids to tight in this place too in the cramped room. The older blond lady proceeded to offend my cousin when she came in by being direct and rude to her where to take the kids and go in to the room and talk to my site family not her about the plans and stated ' 4:30 end time" she wanted that known.next my brother and I stood insidede Ingle the nice man that worked there told us we could sit down. Wbut he had to check because there was a space capacity and they were not busy. Glad his boss or owner the rude person mentioned gave the okay. Not sure if this person is the owner buor had a bad day. She did not make us feel welcomed anor happy to be there. I wish this business the best and hopefully this was a unique experience and no one made felt this way. Mind you all the adults that came in to this gathering told each other that they did not feel comfortable and awkward by this person. So this is not my...
Read moreUnfortunately I'm really NOT that impressed I get it lots of KID'S which was okay for the most part but it got LOUD at times and HARD to hear yourself think the chairs are HARD and very uncomfortable horrible for those with autoimmune diseases like myself so if your OLDER or suffer with ARTHRITIS these chairs maybe bothersome I was in so much PAIN afterwards not a good experience for me
I'm really not sure if I'll be able to do it again because sitting on a HARD plastic chair for a couple hours is just too painful
I also feel these places are expensive for most I do a lot of ART at home and have FUN doing it as well and yeah I'm not able to glaze my stuff so that's definitely nice I just wish it was a little bit cheaper it's really geared toward those who have money to SPEND
But with times being tough for so MANY and putting food on the table it can REALLY be hard when your thinking about spending $20-$50 on a ceramic piece that's pretty cheap to begin with but then others may say but it's about the experience WELL your in a room with strangers painting it can be loud and for some it can be uncomfortable and for me it's was painful
So I say find a way to do your ART at home or have a pottery party at HOME and when the weather gets warmer painting outside can be so therapeutic
If they changed some stuff like prices $$ and comfort then it would be worth it to me and MANY...
Read moreSo unprofessional. I attempted to use their online system to book a party followed all of the instructions and submitted. I did not receive a confirmation email or call so I sent a follow up email to the email address on their website. I never received an email back 2 weeks later I stopped by to confirm if my event had been booked if not to book it in person and pay the deposit. So I could send out invitations for the event. Apparently this business is run in the 1800s because they only have one paper calendar they keep with bookings and the owner for some reason does not leave it at the business where it would make the most sense to have it. I was told they could neither confirm my online booking nor book my party without the calendar. I was then told the owner would reach out to me to confirm/book my event. I get a call 6 days later! 3 days before my event is supposed to take place saying they did not have my reservation. I obviously had already made other arrangements after I observed the level of incompetence upon visiting the location. DON'T...
