I love the patterns and the flour sag towels. I was sad that I bought 6 place mats and when washed shrunk, and are no longer usable. When I took them to the factory they told me I should know cotton shrinks. The label said, " preshrunk" so I washed them in cool water. The sales person took me back to the table of these items and underneath the place mats it said "cotton may shrink". The sales lady said, "they consider these "throw aways"!
