I never usually leave 1 star reviews but they need to reevaluate their customer service for this location. I went to go pick up my medications (which I’ve done here many times, but it had been several months since my last refill). I got a text that my meds were ready. One of the pharmacy techs asks me if I have insurance, which I thought would be on file, so I show her my insurance card. She looks really hard at my card and gets frustrated, tells me she doesn’t “know what she’s looking at or what to look for” when she sees my insurance card. So she shows my insurance card to the other tech who seems to know what to look for, and starts looking up my info. She then tells me I’ve never filled my meds there before so I can’t have them. I of course told her yes I have, just not in the last couple of months, then I notice the first tech starts mumbling under her breath and rolling her eyes at me. The second tech replies “then something changed with your insurance then, I don’t know”. Okay... so am I not getting my medication because I’ve allegedly never filled them at this location, or is it because my insurance changed? They had terrible communication with each other and myself the entire time. I received eye rolls, sighs, and groans during my visit. I also work in customer service and am very understanding when they can’t fill a request due to something out of their control, however I’ve never dealt with staff so blatantly rude and insensitive to a client, who was just as confused as they said they were. It took them an absurd amount of time to figure out that they couldn’t give me my meds for whatever reason. I walked out balling over how they treated me. I called my doctor AND my insurance company that day and NOTHING had changed with my policy. Not surprising. So I will be filling my scripts through express scripts from now on, and will be never going back to this location if I can help it. Corporate, put your staff through sensitivity training, and please teach them how to read an...
Read moreI've had a similar experience to the last person reviewing at this pharmacy regarding customer service. My complaint is not with the Pharmacists. They always seem professional and hardworking. My complaint is strictly based upon the unprofessional and rude behavior of the Pharmacy techs.
My prescription was due to be filled at the end of April. I received a text prompt. After replying to the text prompts,. I received a message stating that my prescription will be ready for pickup in a week.
When I came to get my prescriptions, the Pharmacy tech who assisted me had an unpleasant demeanor. In a annoyed tone stated" well we don't have anything for you, what are you looking for?" Well..I can't imagine I was looking for Aluminum foil. In short, I could barely hear what she was saying as she was fixated on the computer screen and wasnt facing me when speaking. But the gist of what she was explaining was that I needed to follow up with my doctor as the prescription had 0 refills left. ( I understand that completely)
In short, after 5 years of having my prescriptions filled here, I will be going elsewhere from now on. I understand that the pandemic has affected everything. I know many retail workers are working hard to keep shelves stocked. But I was never unreasonable with this Pharmacy tech. I am always courteous as I also worked in a grocery store setting during the pandemic and understand how impatient the general public can be.
To boot, the technician was rude to my mother, who I asked to pick up my prescription later for me as she was in the area. I never received any notification my...
