Although most Mom and Pop type hardware stores are a thing of the past, some have survived. Sunnycrest Farm and Garden was formerly Cavetown Hardware, for many generations. Although the name has changed, the inventory and service is beyond outstanding after all these years. If you need something in the hardware line, I am sure they have it. They even carry bird seed and garden items. I needed to hang something in my home, and did not want to use a nail, so, I was looking for a stick and peel item. Instead of shopping the huge Lowe's which is nearer to me, I decided to try this store. Glad I did, they had what I wanted and I will be a regular customer from now on. I can get 50 pounds bird seed there, which is great, because most other stores only carry...

This little hardware/nursery is family owned. And just short of a mile from my home.

I've done everything from copying keys, purchased veggie plants, straw, hardware and even sunlights for my garage...... to ups drop offs at this store.

And each and every time I've been greeted, directly approached asking if I needed help. The staff is amazingly friendly and knowledgeable.

In fact, when I dropped off my latest ups drop off, it turned out that my label was too light. Printer ink running dry. I was frustrated since I was suspicious it would be an issue. The staffer asked if I could just forward it to him for reprint. I did. And problem solved!

This is very much a "keep it local"...

Wow, this place was very impressive! Might be the best place to buy Milwaukee tools in the area. They have the widest selection of in stock Milwaukee tools that I have seen, multiple SDS, PLUS, MAX tools and tons of bits, chippers, chisels, punches and more.

Excellent quality lumber yard as well with plenty of decking Yellawood brand.

Very reasonable prices and extremely helpful people assisted us in a quick design ramp with lumber quantities accurately calculated.

I will never go to Lowes or Home Depot before coming here first. That's how much better this place is! Free popcorn too!
