If I didn't have to assist my elderly parents who live in Haines City, I'd never come here. Every day there's an auto accident that practically shuts down U.S. 27. If you like to sit in traffic, this is the place for you. Law enforcement (no matter the agency) is not concerned about keeping the traffic moving. They (FHP & Haines City) literally blocked a lane on the opposite side of the highway as the collision. I can not boast enough about NE Polk Chamber of Commerce. The staff are all so efficient, friendly, community driven, nice, always willing to help out a small business and anyone in need.
