Unlike most jewelry stores that want to keep you uneducated, clueless, and in the dark, Aaron and his staff take the opposite approach. They feel the more the customer learns and knows, the better his store looks, especially when it comes to price, quality and selection. I bought a gold chain, 4 pendants, three loose .33ct. diamonds, and a cool pair of trillion diamond stud earrings, all set in 14K white gold. The jeweler who works for Aaron is also very good. Not someone I would choose to do business with. They Really lowballed the price of a rare coin and tried to tell me that an 1853 gold coin was worth scrap metal price. Had the coin appraised and it was 5 times the value they offered. I understand making a profit, but robbing people of theirs is shady at best. Wow, this place is a rip off. And they think their customers are stupid. I brought a ring with two diamonds and a ruby in for an offer. To start the owner told me there was a chip in the smallest diamond, and proceeds to tell me that diamonds are a soft Stone and easy to chip. What?? Aren't diamonds the hardest stone? Then he offered me $1,200 for a ring that I had appraised for at $19,000, and there is no chip in the smallest diamond.
