This is indubitably one of the best African stores in Connecticut. It’s a one stop shop for every kind of African and Caribbean groceries. I visited today and was really impressed. The attendant I met was very courteous, and a good conversationalist with the most engaging sense of humor, that I almost didn’t want to leave. It’s family friendly; pretty close to the road, and can be easily noticed from a vehicle in normal traffic. Read moreAvoid this place if you can. Not clean,smelly and very, very rude customer service. On top of that there is no parking. I was asked to get stuff for someone and the inside of the store is simply disgusting. To get an item, there are boxes that you are expected to get past.
