I’ve never had issues with the food or drinks once made. I have been coming to this location regularly for almost 2 years now. I always do mobile order because I’m picking up on my way to work and understand things can get hectic and take long. My last 3-4 pickups ( different days but always in the morning ) have been slightly delayed. I always order a frappe and notice the cup is sitting there for a while or not even made until I ask about It. Meanwhile all other drinks and food is being pushed out, even ppl who order after me. This morning is the reason for my review. I ordered ahead. Walked in after about 5 min and was waiting for 20 min inside before asking what’s going on because nobody was tending to the frappes. The manager was at the drive thru pushing orders out. The guy at the food was pushing orders out and I notice a lady named Joyce talking to a regular customer or someone she may have known. She mouthed to her “I’m not moving faster” while already taking her sweet time , then I heard her verbally say she’s not moving faster with this “idc” attitude so I then watch the guy making the hot drinks and notice he’s just chatting It up on the headset. I then hear the manager mention to everyone the headsets are for communication purposes. I then notice the guy who was making the hot drinks start restocking many things that didn’t seem to be empty. Literally everything except touching the frappes. I then notice the guy at the food side come over and say “I’m going to help you with the frappes” as he starts one, Joyce tells him to stop helping and he should be dealing with food only. I thought that was interesting considering she was sabotaging her pace to begin with. After witnessing this, I walk to the counter and wait another 5 min to ask about my order. Read moreLeft this morning with no coffee and no refund because the team and product here is not up to standard. I ordered a cold brew with a little cream. I get this drink from starbucks at least 3x per week and it always tastes the same at every location. I ordered drive through got my drink and noticed right away it was not right. It just tasted like water and cream. I went inside and gave them the feedback and the one person there (who i assume was the manager?) offered to remake the drink, but didn’t have a very nice attitude about it or apologize for the mistake. They make the cold brew again and i can see they are pouring from a coffee urn instead of the normal keg they get the cold brew from. The second coffee was the same as the first. There was no acknowledgment from the team that they were serving incorrect product. They offered to make me another drink and i asked for just a small latte that actually tastes like coffee. They give me a venti latte that is 90% milk and still does not taste like coffee. I left everything behind and went to dunkin to get a coffee without even asking for a refund. The incorrect coffee was frustrating but mostly the total lack of genuine and friendly customer service was what made me leave feeling upset. The one team member insinuated that i was ruining her morning, just by simply asking for a drink to be remade. I was very nice about the situation. They were not. There are a lot of training opportunities ranging from quality and consistency of drinks, to store operations. The lack of training surely comes down from store management and that's reflected in the condition of the facility.
I normally order ahead using the mobile app and then walk into the store to get my drink. The store is routinely trashed first thing in the morning, which indicates that the closing crew from the night before isn't cleaning the place up. Paper wrappers on the floor, items not stocked, dirty floor, etc. They are frequently out of items like the plastic lid plugs and the thermal sleeves. How do you let your store run out of basics? There are also many drinks "unavailable" on the mobile app including dark roast coffee. So, this store has poor operational management and training.
The drinks are also incorrect/inconsistent as others have noticed and frequently made wrong. I literally order a venti Pike with heavy cream every day... you'd think that would be difficult to mess up, but they manage. Sometimes it has half&half, sometimes no cream. As others have noted, you frequently have to stand at the to go counter for several minutes before attracting someone's attention (if the store is busy, which it usually is) because they don't allow people to grab their own drinks any more.
