Yesterday I had a very bad experience at Hammond store. I went to buy a Halloween costume for my 4 year old daughter. While buying used my 20% off coupon. It did not work on register. I bought the costume for full price. While going to car. My wife said to go on website and enroll again to get 20% off coupon. And I did I got fresh coupon. Went back within 5 minutes to return and use my 20% off coupon. The employee said we cannot do that. He and other lady at desk both started doing facial expressions of not to help. And then the guy call manager and the manager Says not to give discount offered by spirit Halloween. I asked what is return policy. Can I return it now. The guy said yes. So I return the costume got my refund. And went and got he costume and was paying with my discount. They said it’s a loop hole but we won’t check you out. They REFUSE TO SELL ME COSTUME. I Said this is not the way to do business. I will write a review online and he said you can do that they don’t care. I won’t say that the guy was mean to me. He was just following the order from his manager. I was thinking of going to other spiritHalloween store. Read moreI’ve been to this Spirit Halloween store (and many others) more times than I can count. I’ve never had any issues or problems. However, this year was different. We were lucky enough to be assisted by a lady named Chloe (hope I spelled that right). She was AMAZING. We were struggling finding a specific TMNT costume in a specific size and she left the register, got on the floor with the biggest smile and best child-friendly personality I’ve EVER SEEN. SHE WAS GREAT ! ! I really can’t say enough about her. She didn’t stop until our little guy had EXACTLY what he was looking for and he was HAPPY! A week later , we see her out somewhere and my little boy started smiling, yelled her name across the crowd and ran up to her. She was EXACTLY THE SAME ! She stopped what she was doing to greet him and talk for a moment and he left her with a huge smile. She really made his day AGAIN ! Thanks Spirit Halloween for having such a genuinely compassionate employee. She really went above and beyond and made a difference for our family. THANK YOU Chloe ! We hope to see you...

There is no fitting room to try on costumes, but I know their return policy says that as long as you don’t open the accessories, it can be returned or exchanged. I took it home and tried it on over the weekend. I don’t really like it, so I planned to exchange it. I went in today (5 days later) and they would not let me exchange. Apparently there is a date that’s a deadline and you can’t return our exchange after that date. I was not told when I purchased that it would be a final sale because I was past a certain date already. I would’ve never bought it in the first place and I realized. If you don’t want to let people exchange then perhaps you should have a fitting room...
