The kids had a great time. The facility was well organized the owner is kind & friendly & the employees were great. We will be back - I have a problem only with the Groupon advertisement.
Now I bought two Groupon's ONLY due to it being affordable - to bring my son and seven friends over for his birthday. I read and re-read the groupons to be 100% positive there were no stipulations or items I missed. I get there & I am told there are stipulations & additional cost even though the groupon is advertised as no additional cost.
First, they say low impact gums only even though it is NOT stipulated in the groupon advertisement. If you want the regular guns its and upcharge which I am totally good with, but it is not advertised, stated, or implied. It should be stated it only include LOW IMPACT. Then I am told it does NOT INCLUDE the paintballs. So extra $ there too. Again, if it was advertised or implied in the groupon I would have been prepared for that additional cost or I would have made another plan. In fact it states the below taken directly from groupon. The owner was kind enough to offer a discount on the paintballs but it does not take away from the fact that the groupon advertising is FALSE & MISLEADING. I am fighting with groupon now because of the false, incorrect & misleading advertisement.
Thankfully, I took a screen shot of exactly what was advertised on the day I purchased it and below is what it said taken right from the groupon site. It should specifically state low impact only and there is an additional cost for paintballs. Instead when I purchase the groupon its stated "Enjoy a full day of paintball with friends. All necessities provided including admission, equipment, and unlimited air fills" and "The deal includes full-day access to the premier paintball field with necessary equipment provided." and finally "Enjoy an action-packed day without worrying about additional costs or supplies." all taken from the groupon when I purchased.
This is what it said when I purchased the groupon-

Read moreHonestly the worst paint ball experience I have had.
My friends and I play very casual, and from other places we have went, we have realized that if we get there just as it opens we can play some games that are more personal and generally around the same skill level as us. So we arrive a little after 9 and we are all set by 9:30. From 9:30 to 11:30, we only played two games. The refs didn't seem to care as they were hanging out with their buddies in the store. Totally unprofessional and a waste of my time and money.
Of course around this time it seemed the regulars had shown up. They brought there own paint, and I asked the refs about it and they just shrugged it off. So the website says you have to use their paint so none of us brought any, and spent 50 dollars on quite possible the worst paint I have ever used. Of course the refs are churning out games because all the regulars are here so from about that time we got about 5 games in from 11:45 to 2:30.
The guys that showed up around that time were huge jerks (seems like the same ones from the earlier comment), each one of us had stories of getting lit up after we had our hands up and started walking away from the game even five or more seconds after we had surrendered. One point (at castle) the refs called the game and they just kept shooting. The refs did not say one word to them, not even an attempt to get them to settle down.Refs also barely moved, good luck asking for a paint check.
The courses are alright, except for castle, which is quite possible the worst castle I have ever played at. Its about the width of a speedball feild while being a little longer. Castle almost automatically wins and it is pretty good way to waste your over priced paint.
Also they don't check ANYONE'S speed or guns. They probably didn't care. I would probably rank this as one of the worst paintball places I have...
Read moreWent there for a birthday party. You would think the person working would have suggested appropriately for the age group. Or make sure the parent was aware/educated enough to make appropriate decisions. No, they offered regular impact and never offered chest protectors. Not until two kids were hurt did he then say Iâll get the chest protectors since it hurts so bad and we will switch to the low impact. Whatâs low impact , oh they feel like nerf balls he shared. Would have made sense to suggest, if not insist, this idea when checking in a group of young kids. And chest protectors! Why not give them out w the face masks? Why are they an after thought? When I suggested to the young man this should be the way he excused the idea because he was the only one working. Going there for a fun day , relying on those working there to properly equip you and guide you with the excitement of finding a new hobby was a big mistake. First...
