I love this Walmart even though it's not a super walmart, but I really enjoy going in the mornings. Last time I went there was a lot of people that work there that I've never seen I guess people that are just there working for the holidays and I actually had like a bunch of big bulk items on my car along with two bags in the cart and I seen an employee whisper to another employee and then I'm going through self-checkout and the one employees like oh I can ring you up I thought maybe this was cuz I had too many things or whatnot so she rang up like the things that were out like water Ghostbusters cat litter cat food and then the things the couple of things that were in the two bags then I had a bag that was obviously being held at a purse as a person she said what about did you pay for the stuff in there I'm like excuse me I'm like this purse that I'm using and I opened my bag and I was like so mad and she was like oh okay so obviously they were trying to see if I was stealing . Because literally right after I open my purse medley she walked away so she wasn't helping me bring my stuff up I can bring my own stuff up in self-checkout she just wanted to go through all my things and what's funny is that I had stuff open and I mean closed in a box like from the Dollar general that could have been from there and I could have taken it from there but obviously like I was so mad and this thing is that the reason why it made me not like Walmart this Walmart because of two people that were only probably there are only seasonal employees and they just went about it so wrong and rudely and there was no reason for them to like pick out me and the women and the people during the day are so much different like the people that are usually there I mean I try to show them my receipts and they're all like no you're good honey good. But besides it turning me off like that in that situation I actually like our walmart. Even though it's not a super Walmart I think a lot of the clothes and things are actually better than some of the clothes for women in the...
Read moreSmaller Walmart but still had everything we needed. The employees were very helpful. They were also very accommodating of my friend and I at self-check-out. She just had knee surgery and she had the wrong item n the young man working there ran to the back of the store and grabbed the right item for her and then I had to run to the car for her checkbook when she was done ringing up all items n we realized she had forgotten it in car. The employees were so very patient. Didn't put any pressure on us to hurry. Actually made sure we knew not to rush. Which was amazingly kind of them. Update 7/8/2025 Still love this store and there employees. I am now also using this location as my pharmacy. Pretty surprised how great i have found that department to be. They are always willing to answer any questions i may have and it doesnt matter how busy they are when i go to pick up whatever i have waiting there. Ive had issues with new insurance and getting authorizations and i swear this pharmacy has taken care of it all faster then any other ive ever used. Definitly impressed with the Hammonton Walmart Pharmacy and i highly recommend them to anyone who gets prescriptions filled. They even have free delivery available thru the app so that makes my life so much easier because i dont drive. Id normally be forced to pay for an uber there and back so saving the money and time involved to get my medicines is fantastic. If you're looking for an exceptional pharmacy, I definitely would give Walmart pharmacy of Hammonton a try.I can't imagine you being...
Read moreSo I went to this Walmart to buy myself a new TV, and when I went to the electronics section and asked the first guy in a blue vest a saw where the TVs were. He told me to follow him and things immediately started getting suspicious as we went through an old wooden door hidden behind the arts a crafts in the back that lead to a cave that seemed to go miles down. At first I was reluctant but he assured me this was completely normal and all Walmart's had one. So i shrugged it off and followed him down. After what felt like hours we got to the bottom where there was in fact, a bunch of TVs. So he asked me which one I wanted and i picked the 72 incher because awww yeah. So as I checked out and went to walk away I noticed the door was gone, looked over and to ask what was going on and realized that he was never an employee at all but an 8 foot blue goblin with webbed feet. He said we are gonna eat you to which I responded "we?" At that moment Big foot and the Lochness monster (im pretty sure that's who that was) came out of the darkness and chased me around in some catacomb made from TV displays. The Scooby Doo theme played in my head as I ran for my life, finding an elevator conveniently nearby and took it to safety, where it dispensed me directly into the nearby Applebee's bathroom. Because of this experience I gotta give Walmart a 3 outta 5. Goblin infiltration is a national problem that we should all...
