Been here for the third time, same Italian hoagie. This time I ordered online to have ready in advance for my break time. I ordered Primo size hoagie (which I guess is the average 7-8” as oppose to the option of small or whole / which I think whole is twice the size or Primo. Love the seeded rolls.. always perfect meat and cheese. I asked for no onion and in ‘special requests’ I wrote “please cut in half so I can share” with my son on break. I arrived on time, it was ready sitting there. I told her my order number and asked if it was cut, she replied “it must be bcuz you requested it” as she read it on my receipt... SANDWICH WASNT CUT - no knife to cut!! 😡

Customer service and timing are everything! This place lacks both. I was undecided on what i wanted for a moment. I asked how long it would be for a very small tray of sandwiches. I was told a half hour. There was noone else there so i figured 15 or 20 minutes was reasonable. I just didnt want to wait so i didnt order the tray. Now im waiting and about 4 customers come, order and leave with their food. A half hour later im still waiting. They call me for my food finally. I was being patient since i was getting frustrated already at the length of time i was waiting anyway and watching people come and go since id come in after ordering. I kindly explained to the guy i would've just ordered the tray if i knew I'd be waiting a half hour anyway. He rudely starts mouthing off explaining how hes not a magician etc... i kindly told him i didnt ask for his rude sarcasm and he continued mouthing off about how i was undecided when i came in. Umm.. what does that matter? Id only ordered 2 sandwiches and still waited a half hour. He mouthed off so much i had to be firm and tell him its not that serious and to please just finish my food. My friends and I were coming from Atlantic City and decided we wanted a hoagie. We yelped hoagies and Primo Hoagies came up. We weren't sure if we wanted to go because it didn't have a lot of reviews on Yelp but we took a chance. Wow!! We are glad we did! Primo Hoagies (John Johns Hoagies of Hammonton) gets 5 stars! John was pleasant from the time we walked in the door. He had a sense of humor. He listened to what we liked and made suggestions that were a match. We ordered the Mild Turkey Diablo, the Italian, the Audie (turkey and roast beef), the Old World Style Meatballs and Turkey Breast & Cheese, chips, macaroni salad and potato salad. Every bite was delicious!! The place was clean and the bathrooms were clean. Oh I spoke to his brother before he left and he was nice as well. It must run in the family.
