Little India Store — Local services in Hampden Township

Purchased a tandoor and owner requested cash only. Once paid the delivery was 2 weeks late and incomplete. Came back for the bottom plate of the tandoor and the owner made up excuses how it was misplaced and lost. Then he stated his shipment is stuck at the port and once it clears he will overnight it. It has been over 3 weeks and every time i call he has a new excuse of how the shipment was lost and he will overnight it. At this point after over 3 weeks and his store being closed i have given up and will spend the extra money and use a reputable company to order the plate. Whatever you so stay away from this store and the owner. He is a con-artist with a million excuses. So the store says Little India by Sangu. The person introduces himself as the owner then opens the office door to collect the money. But as per the owner response he is not affiliated with the store but is affiliated with Sangu Enterprises Ltd. yet its Little India by Sangu. Well this all...

I don't usually post reviews for places, but I thought Little India was deserving of one. I went in to buy a mandir for my new apartment as I wanted to shop local rather than order online. It was the second time I visited the shop in their new location and it's beautiful. They have a wide variety of spiritual items: Hindu, Islam, Buddhist and Sikh and everything is reasonably priced. Any budget will be able to leave with something wonderful.

There is also an entire section devoted to Indian clothing and another for cookware. The gentlemen who I believe is the manager or owner is helpful, polite and professional.
