Wide options for food!! Seafood, chicken, beef, pork, veg and a little section with macNcheese, pasta, and sausages. There are multiple options for everyone. My daughter is a pescatarian. She ate to her heart’s content because of huge varieties available. I liked their food. Not overwhelmed, but its good. Only thing I would like to point that, I felt, their sushi could be little better. The rice in the sushi felt dry and some of the tuna and salmon on the sushi smelt not very fresh. The pickled ginger or gari tested odd. So I would recommend to check before you fill your plate if you are a sushi lover. We went around 4p and found lot of happy diners inside. The service people are very attentive and active. My bill came with a suggested tip options from 15%. I was given two bills and I haven’t noticed first time. I paid the one suggested with 15% tip. Later I found another bill from underneath with open choice tip options. I was happy with my service so, I didn’t mind paying 15% tip. I would suggest to check the bill tray properly before you make a payment. Also they give you fortune cookies with cute messages 😃

The decor is modern with a gigantic recessed lighted wall which changes color. It's very spacious. The placement of foods is different (U-shaped) which is refreshing. The selection of dishes is vast but usual, oh except the marshmallow fondue which was a nice surprise!! I also liked the pork chops, the red borscht soup, and the golden sweet and sour fish fillets. Lunch buffets are great value without question, dinners not so much so. I am very happy that the West Shore finally have some descent Asian buffet restaurant of our own! I used to have to drive all the way to the East Shore to visit one of Jumbo Buffet, Lin Buffet, or Hibachi Grill Buffet. There were some botched previous attempts by other buffet restaurants, but I am hopeful that this one sticks due to its proven track record on the East Shore. 4 stars for on par with expectation. I'd give 5 if they had included some more authentic dishes instead of the usual.

A large selection of food and plenty of space to sit. They can accommodate small or large parties. You can find sushi, hibachi, and "authentic" American Chinese flair. On the weekends in the evening you can expect a large crowd so plan according. I have been there before and the bathrooms have been cleaner but unfortunately today, they were not so tidy. The folks that work there are polite and do a good job of picking up empty plates and offering refills. The gentleman who was the host today is always very outgoing and welcoming. He even made a point to say that it was nice to see us again. Save room for dessert of ice cream with or without the chocolate from the fountain or other sweets.

First visit was excellent for dinner around 6pm. Food was changed over constantly. We thought we found a great place.

Second visit was a nightmare. Went on a Wednesday around 4pm. All the “usual food” you’d find an Asian buffet was old and cold. Could tell it had been sitting out for hours. All of the usual dishes like honey chicken, egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken, beef and broccoli, fried shrimp, honey walnut shrimp, wings, all cold and hard…I can name maybe 5 things that they put out for “dinner” and the hibachi that were even remotely warm. Didn’t touch any of their dinner stuff though…Tbh bc it’s all seafood which isn’t my go to item at an Asian restaurant. When I finally confronted someone about it, they said I should have requested it and they would microwave the food for me?!?! I’m sorry what? Are they not to be keeping the food warm themselves and manning s certain temperature?!? Is that what they are doing to the food when they take it out after it’s been out for a while?!?! Sounds like some serious health code issues. Kind of annoyed I paid dinner prices for food that had been sitting out all day through lunch. So then I was stuck just hearing hibachi which had zero flavor and the meat pieces were large and overcooked and also sitting out quite long…. Will not be returning and anything positive I’ve said about this place in the past has now been overshadowed by this very negative experience. ...

Lin Buffet: A Solid Choice, But Could Use a Little Warmth

Lin Buffet isn't going to blow your mind with a culinary explosion, but it's a decent spot for a casual meal. The food is generally good, hitting those familiar Chinese buffet notes.

My only real gripe is that some of the dishes could have been warmer. A few things felt like they'd been sitting out a tad too long, temperature-wise. Also, if you're expecting a sprawling, endless selection, this might not be the buffet for you. The variety is a bit more limited compared to some other places I've tried.

However, what truly elevated my experience at Lin Buffet was the fantastic service. Our waitress was an absolute gem! She was so attentive, always checking in on us, whisking away empty plates before we even noticed them, and making sure our drinks were full. Honestly, her cheerful demeanor and top-notch service almost single-handedly bumped this review up a star. And a shout-out to the hibachi chef too! That guy was a grilling machine, cranking out orders like a pro. You could tell everyone was working hard.

So, overall, Lin Buffet is a solid choice. The food is good enough, and the service is truly outstanding. If they could just tweak the food temperature and maybe expand the selection a bit, they'd easily be a 5-star contender. It's clear the staff cares, and that makes a big difference. I'd...

It's very impolite not telling the customers that you're ringing up juice as soda and charge the same price as soda this is not a amusement park that you can sell high prices on soda and juice make sure you post up signs letting people know because you guys trying to get me on my receipt that says three sodas when I had two sodas and one juice ..don't see no sign stating that soda cost the same amount as juice... And the food was not even cooked well I tried almost everything there pork egg rolls were too tough to bite through could have broke a tooth. Like really have pride in cooking your food for your customers cuz I know I have pride when I was cooking in the kitchen. you cook's should feel embarrassed working there smh never going to eat there again.to the good employees if your boss is not trying to listen to you when customers complain and not trying to change it's no point of staying working there trust me been there done it ... Next restaurant I go in I'm going to ask how much are each drink prices first ... next time I will be getting Water so stop giving away free fountain water and start selling bottled waters for $10 a bottle that's what's going to come down to but let your customers...
