My fiancé and I have been coming here enough for me to give some critical feedback. For dining in, it’s very fast service when they bring you the plate of bean sprouts and dressings for your pho. However, after the pho is brought out to you, they rarely check in to see if you got everything you needed and just let you be until you grab their attention. They also don’t seem to listen well when requesting something or asking for something extra. I’ve noticed this on numerous occasions where my fiancé and I ask for water with extra lime (instead of a thinly sliced lime) and for a small dish for dipping in. And for the first time, I ordered takeout, but when I arrived to pick it up, I learned that they charge $1.50 per takeout container for your pho. I thought that was unnecessary and a bit ridiculous considering they already raised their prices so the to-go orders should be fixed into that. When I ordered it over the phone, I asked for extra basil. When I brought it home, I was very disappointed to see that they didn’t give us the extra basil and also they put the meat on top of the noodles in the same container with the bean sprouts and basil. If the meat is uncooked, then it’s cross contamination with the other ingredients so that should be a violation of health codes. The bean sprouts were in a pocket and they looked very bad and not fresh. I had to take a picture because of how sad it looked and usually people like to take a put of bean sprouts in their pho. It was very sad and disappointing overall since they upcharge you but they’re very stingy with their portions and don’t give fresh quality ingredients. I wish the owner would notice these things. It doesn’t seem to be managed very well because you never see the owner there anymore and they’re always in a hurry to close up and rush people to get out. They have the earliest closing time amongst the pho restaurants so it’s hard to dine here...
Read moreWe've become fans of good Pho, so we keep our eyes open for new places that open up. Found this one in a Happenings book, and they had a 25% off coupon in the book. Had a nice write up explaining that they are new, family owned Pho restaurant and will be expanding menu as they get situated. Sounded good, and wanted to give them a try. Had dinner one night, and shared some summer rolls (fresh, not fried), which were okay, but fairly bland. Had 2 different orders of Pho, but they were out of the tofu, so had to settle for something else. We also had one order of lemongrass chicken bun. Overall, the pho was okay, nothing to rave about. They did serve it with a lot of basil & jalapeno peppers for the table, which was very nice. But when we tried to use the Happenings book coupon, the owner tried to explain to us that it was not an authorized advertisement, and they were not honoring the coupons. Of course, he did keep the coupon, but we ended up paying full price. I went back & re-read the write up, and based upon the information in the happenings book, its hard to believe that they got scammed somehow. Based on our experience, we won't be going back. But the food is not bad, so if you are in the area and you don't plan to use any coupons or anything, it may work out just...
Read moreThis use to be my primary pho shop but I have had three horrible experiences here as of late and refuse to go back. All relating to one waitress who doesn't seem to know what she's doing. The first time I was seated and she spent 10 minutes chatting up an older gentleman while the place was relatively empty. She finally came over to take my order and she took it into the back. A little bit later a taller waitress came out and asked me for my order again and apologized for the new waitress. I assumed it was a fluke. The second time I got given the wrong order. Again it was rescued The by the taller waitress who seemed to what she was doing it. The last time was also a wrong order situation but no rescue here. This was weeks ago and I haven't been back. Then today a friend of mine was posting about these guys. Apparently the owner is an older guy who likes to creep on young ladies. My friends friend's wife is Vietnamese and overheard them talking about their daughter. 10/10 avoid this place there is a better place just...
