Dollar Tree — Local services in Hamtramck

I have no idea how they are getting 5 stars, the store is always a mess, always big lines and only one register open and 3 or 4 ppl around just doing nothing or trying to fix the balloons 😂. They are never helpful. So today i go buy somethings then after i was done with my purchase i went and asked another worker other than the cashier so i do not slow down the lign, asked if they can give me a couple empty boxes, so the cashier said she wouldn't know if they have any that she just started her shift, i asked is there anyone i could ask to help me with this she said no, i said is there anyone in the back she said no, ( the back door was open as usual and there are piles of empty boxes). ( plus it seems like they got their order cause they were stocking). Well i looked at the boxes by her and asked can take from here, she said you can. So i took 2 then she looks at me " ee ee these are the one we putting trash in you gana rake them and leave the trash in the floor" i said i am sorry and put one back, before i even.finish folding the one i took and put it in the cart, she says " are you gana pick up the trash and put it back in the box" like i worked for her tone. I did pick up the smaller boxex i took out of the big box i took =what she called trash and put them back in the box. I left stoned, shocked. All i know is when i worked at a gas station i would go out of my way and fill ppl gas, fill tire with air... ( for ppl that ask for help) i will do my best to...

I went the store earlier today and and I make a purchase of $18.75 plus the tax was $1.13 so the total was $19.88 so I gave them a $20.00 bill and the cashier supposed to return my change but instead of returned my money she just hand me over the receipt so I ask for the changer, soon I ask for my changer she start arguing with me then her manager came and start telling of it’s only 12cent I was what do you mean by it’s only 12cent, you guys suppose to return my change. Then the lady hand me over only 2penny I was like you still shorting me. All the sudden the manager start yalling at me loud and start telling me oh it’s only 12cent and you keep asking us for an only 12cent . Then the cashier lady took the 2penny from me and gave me a dime back they still short me 2cent. Ya I understand it’s was only 12cent but imagine it if they short 20 people a day how much extra money they making every day ?and how much they making week then a month then annually? It’s not only that they totally staffed members always behave like this with all the day foreign people . I’ve never been able to get out of this store in a timely manner. Cashiers seem to always be engaged in personal conversations and generally lacking professionalism, i.e. getting attitudes with customers over very minor things. Also, your store hours clearly show you open at 8. I arrived at 8, on the dot to prepare for thanksgiving, only to be told you open at 9 and for an employee to tell me that they haven’t had special hours since the start of the pandemic.
