Detroit Donut — Restaurant in Hamtramck

Definitely not a person to review places, Because we’re in crazy times and I like to offer grace towards restaurants. However I was very disappointed in my service today as I was excited to try Detroit donuts since there were so many options to choose from. Plus they were open on Sundays. But to my luck the experience did not live up to the hype at all. The lady at the counter was really rude to me as I waited like everyone else in a line to be serviced. But when a men who was sitting at a table came up in front of me to get his coffee refill. She decided his demand was more important than mine. She looked to acknowledge me then told me to wait a minute because his half full coffee took priority. I was so upset and disappointed and will never return. I used to come to Detroit Donut every year for fat Tuesday. I moved out of state for a couple years and was finally able to enjoy my Paçzki fix, favorite holiday in the D! The Paçzki used to be a 6/5 star review, unfortunately it had changed. It was slightly dry this year, however after the second day being in my kitchen they were slightly more moist (probably because of the filling absorption into the dough). First time at this place and the last time. As I approached the lady at front who’s short, chubby; however, she was very rude and impatient during my time ordering. Furthermore, I seen a cockroach at front counter, it left me in disguised and left my appetite in crumbs.
