Bartlett Soap n Suds — Local services in Hanover Township

My family and I recently moved to the area and between days of moving and wrestling with two toddlers, our laundry pile became a mountain. I researched a few service laundry mats, called them up and immediately knew I wanted to try this one. Because of our busy life with kiddos and settling into the new house we opted for pick-up and drop-off laundry service.

We were beyond impressed with the level of care and detail this family business took with our clothes. They had every detergent/softener imaginable, folded every item beautifully, wrapped the clothes in plastic to safeguard, and even tiny plastic bags to separate our socks and undies!! This made putting the clothes away so much easier!!

A couple of weeks later we did the drop-off of service and I got a chance to meet the owner and thank her in person. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and organized the Laundromat was. It has everything- a small library for kids, TVs, a free food pantry, a place for local businesses to share resources, it has it all.

Even though this spot isn't in our immediate neighborhood, it will still be our go-to for laundry!

I had a great experience Bartlett Soap n Suds! It was very clean in there and smelled clean as well. There were chairs, tables, and multiple sizes of washers and dryers. I took my king size comforter there to be washed & dried since my washer is not big enough. I did the drop off service, since I was running errands. The owner, Alma, was very nice. She was very informative about the drop off service she has there. It was great that she had options for the drop off service- all the different soaps, fabric softeners, dryer sheets were included in the price. I don’t use the softeners or dryer sheets, since I have sensitive skin, and she was accommodating. She had the All Free & Clear, along with other name brand products. If you use the drop off service, they will text you when the items are ready to be picked up. When I came back to pick up the comforter- she remembered my name and was very friendly when greeting me. It was a nice feeling getting such great service. We need that more in the world. I will definitely come back! Thank you...

I came in today because our dryer broke. I am so glad I did. I was able to do four loads of laundry in two loads. The store was spotless and the dryers are huge!

As I came and went with multiple loads (after doing my clothes I decided to wash my comforter and blankets because of how big the dryers were), I had conversations with the owner about anything under the sun. In today’s time, it is common that human interaction is to a minimal. You pay and leave. You call and get an AI answering bot that refuses to give you an actual person. I loved every interaction I had with the owner and everyone there. Please go and support this business every opportunity you get. I’ve already decided that, moving forward, I’ll drive the three minutes to wash my comforter and blankets just to stop in and chat. Bartlett is a small town filled with local businesses and this one just made my entire weekend.
