To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to express my profound disappointment and serious concern regarding a product I purchased from your Streamwood, Illinois store. On July 1, 2025, I bought a Good & Gather Creamy Aji Verde Dressing Sauce. I have since consumed the product and only recently discovered that it was expired. The expiration date on the package was June 5, 2025.
This is not a minor oversight; this is a critical health and safety issue. Consuming a perishable item like a dressing sauce over a month past its expiration date is a grave concern. The potential health implications are completely unknown to me, and I am deeply worried about what harm this could have done to my body.
When I first contacted Target customer service to report this, I was offered a $10 gift card as compensation. This is unacceptable and frankly, insulting. Valuing my health and the potential risks I've been exposed to at such a minimal amount shows a complete disregard for the safety and well-being of your customers.
Following that call, I tried to contact the Streamwood store directly to ensure the expired product was removed from the shelves. I was put on hold for over 10 minutes and was never connected with a store manager. This lack of communication and accountability is just as concerning as the initial issue. It's clear my health and safety concerns are not being taken seriously at any level.
I expect a much more serious and appropriate response to this incident. My primary concern is my health and ensuring that this does not happen to anyone else. I urge you to conduct a thorough investigation into how an expired product was left on your shelves for so long and to address the breakdown in communication...

I patiently wait as two men appear to take inventory on the pop displayed on the end of the aisle. They stand in the middle of the aisle and are in the way of any cart passing. After a few moments, I realize that they aren't going to move. I politely say, "excuse me." one acknowledges me and moves to the side and greets me. the other one continues to stand in the middle of the aisle and ignore me as I tried to maneuver around him. finally, he decides to move out of the way as I almost run into him. I shrug it off and continue shopping.
Ready to leave, I debate the self checkout. The only manned register is across the store and much closer to the opposite exit from where I parked. So I opt for the self checkout only a few feet away. I approached as two others were finishing their transactions. Now being the only customer, the toothless Target associate that was lingering stands a foot or two behind me and watched me continuously. Only greeting me as I turned around to tell her how uncomfortable she was making me. she simply said she watched everybody that closely. She didn't even say goodbye as I left. I hate coming to this Target. The customer service at the Randall Road, Elgin location is so much better! And so is their...
Read moreI came to pick up my drive up order 2 times today, the first time I waited 30 minutes and then had to cancel and leave because I had an appointment to go to. The second time I came to pick it up I waited over an hour! I called to ask why it was taking so long and no one answered. It wasn’t very busy and other cars came and got their orders and left. At one point an employee with a cart full of items walked up to my window but then stated it was the wrong car…I’m still waiting. Update, when I did finally flag someone down they said I wasn’t showing up in their system and acted like it was my fault for waiting that long and told me I should have gone into the store after waiting for 15 minutes…I thought that was the whole point of drive up, so I didn’t have to go in the store. I’m still confused on how I can do my part in the app but they didn’t see it on their end… I never received an apology or any sort of compensation for my wasted time. I’m very disappointed in...
