Wild West Smokehouse — Local services in Happy Valley

My husband and I were previously discussing how badly we were craving smoked salmon. We were on our way to Fred Meyers when out of the corner of my eye I see this conveniently located salmon smokehouse! I quickly said Smokehouse! Pull in! Without much effort we scored a parking space. We walked in and was immediately greeted Welcome! I knew I came to the right place. The lovely smell of salmon before I even approached the counter told me the quality of salmon and meat treats i was in for! I said We are here for some smoked salmon! He asked me if I wanted Steelhead and I said Im not sure I never had it. He quickly offered me a very good sample for me to try! The smoky salmon flavor was what we were looking for and we made our purchase! My husband was shocked on how much meat we got for 2 pounds and for the price of how much he gave was surprising! We found our new place to go when we need our salmon craving full-filled!

I stumbled across this little delicatessen gym while on a walk. The owners were so kind, authentic and engaging. Their products are exceptional, and sourced in a socially responsible manner. I appreciated this, since they are Ukrainian, and some of their wares are Russian recipes, but sourced from Estonian companies.. I am particularly fond of high-quality European sausages and salamis. They let me try a number of different things so I could find what I wanted. I ended up buying four different types of meats and two different cheeses. All were exceptional! The smoked pork loin was to die for. And the smoked Gouda was amazing. Bursting with flavor. Their homemade bread has an exceptionally flavored, soft, chewy crumb with a rustic crust.
