I go to the Safeway ALL the time. It is the coldest store! You will feel like your walking through the freezer section the whole time. The staff is always nice though and it's the closest to my house. You MUST check dates on things because I regularly find outdated items on the shelf or in the fridge/freezer. Thier bacon section scares me, so I have stopped buying it there. Literally every time I'm at the store there is bacon on the shelf that has spoiled due to the seal on the package being broken. One day I took 6 bags of rotted moldy pepperoni to the checkout to give to the cashier. Even with the remodel there are regularly bacon or hot dogs with broken seals festering away on the shelf. I was only going to share a triple scoop with my favorite human ever "my beautiful daughter" but after she picked the flavors I seen a new ice cream I had never heard of. SMORE OREO !!!
