I wanted something different today so I went with the unfamiliar. I believe I’ve only had small bites of poke as no one has ever introduced the style to me. I knew it was raw fish in flavored sauces but that was about the extent of my experience until today. The young lady running the place was patient enough to walk me through the offerings. The truffle salmon poke bowl was better than I could have imagined. There are endless combinations so you could likely eat here for two months and get a unique experience every time. As of this writing this place has 22 reviews and a 4.8 rating. I’d give it a 5 star rating if it wasn’t for a few things that need to happen first. Not that it matters to me personally, but I wouldn’t say that the music was family friendly at all. It was on the side of vulgarity with some form of gangsta rap or hip hop wannabe lyrics. I could listen to this with my homies without the ladies and children around, but I don’t think it’s a wise business choice of tunes. Now I realize that this place has only been open since October, but it’s got a good name and the potential for franchise building. It really needs an interior design team to nail down a comfortable theme. Two small tables and a few barstools on a raised table won’t be enough to get much of a sit down crowd. So mainly this is a takeout place due to its stark white empty walls. I even watched a few ladies order and go eat in their vehicle due to its interior shortcomings. But enough complaining, the food was great and I’ll definitely find my way back here one day. ...
Read moreSeaSweets poke has been my safe food for approximately 4 years now (IYKYK). I have visited all their locations and each one is consistent. My order is right every single time (even if using DoorDash etc.), & the ingredients are fresh, flavorful, & a bowl (reg or large) is more than filling. They rarely have missing options and their staff are kind and courteous and mirror my energy and talkativeness which is so nice.
Personally, I enjoy the atmosphere of SeaSweets & sometimes dine in but often take out. Their music is never too loud, & overall this is quite the neurodivergent-friendly place (if you like poke). I visit weekly and am just so thankful for their food...
Read moreI don’t know who the new employee is but she was disrespectful and bad customer service- she was being rude to me for no reason…. When you’re inexperienced in customer service and loudly laughing instead of coming out from the back pleasantly and with the customer coming first, it came across disrespectful. Then she treated me weird for asking any questions and gave me the bottom of the barrel shoyu ahi, instead of getting out a new cold container. Overall, the worst experience I’ve had at this location so far and I’ve chosen SeaSweets 30+ times. If I have more bad experiences here I will not...
