I am incredibly frustrated with my experience here, I went to make a purchase and pulled out my only current ID which is a passport only to be told that I need an actual ID that they can’t use pictures or passports which makes no sense on the passport side of things and simply is not true I've bought alcohol, cbd, gone out of country, etc all with just my passport, maybe you guys do not understand what a passport is but it's my only ID and is LEGALLY very versatile please update your employee’s on current laws because Texas law states: Identification that contains a physical description and photograph consistent with the person's appearance, purports to establish that the person is 21 or older, and was issued by a governmental agency, including a Texas or other state’s driver's license, a passport, or a state or federally–issued identification card. A U.S. Armed Forces identification card is an acceptable ID. A person may not sell, give, or cause to be sold or given a Restricted Product to someone who appears to be younger than 30 unless that person presents an Acceptable Form of Identification. FDA Summary (Federal) Unless otherwise required by state or local law, FDA recommends that retailers accept only government-issued photographic identification with the bearer’s date of birth. (e.g., State-issued driver’s license or identification card, military identification card, passport or immigration card) for establishing a legal age to purchase FDA regulated products. The Photo ID is not acceptable if it has expired. So using a passport should not be and issue you guys are not at all upholding that, you’re losing customers and your cashiers obviously have not been trained in customer service or even know why they’re stating the information they’re stating. I love going to this particular vape city the workers are great! However, I went in earlier and it was hotter then hell inside, what kind of big company with so many locations cannot afford to get their ac properly fixed ? The workers are amazing I’m not sure why management cannot fix this issue properly, how about management work in this hot store instead of the lovely employees who are there every day to make this big company so much money? I bet if management worked there for ONE shift in that hot store the ac would be fixed ASAP, but it seems like vape city doesn’t care about their actual employees that help keep that store afloat. I’m putting a 2 star review because everyone else in this store is wonderful, but something needs to be called to attention! Theirs a girl on morning shift that ID’d me for a lighter. I’m obviously legal age and well over 18. I get she was just trying to do her job but she had a huge attitude and acted like I was crazy. Horrible customer service! Also a guy named hector was working night shift a couple months ago was rude as well. I don’t know what his problem was especially when he seemed to be on something himself.
