Would give half star if I could instead of listening just wanted to argue I don't care if it is what it calls for, it was WRONG!!

Dorman Part # 38403 (was needing door hinge repair kit for 97 dodge ram 1500 2 x 4) package comes with (look up plenty of information out there) 3 pins (the two main ones are tapered), 4 bushings, and 3 retainer clips. I bought it at a different Autozone, opened (never been opener before) and discovered NONE of the bushing would go past shoulder of taper. So, simply called and they said they had one in stock so I drove to this store (20 miles but closer than store I originally bought from)

The employee here actually told me, pins would only have 1 bushing each. When I asked the question, "then why is there 4 bushings if you are only going to use 3?" No response, all he wanted to do was argue with me that product was correct when I just took hinges apart and knew how this went together and had 2 bushing per hinge pin plus 1 for spring/stay open rod.

I dont expect employees to know everything, but I do expect them not to be lazy and not even attempt to look into it (hell ask another employee) instead of just looking it up on computer and telling me "thats the one it calls for." Took 10 mins to get refund, then drove to Choctaw autozone, and the employee there actually helped me instead of looking at me like I was stupid.

In case anyone was wondering, found picture of hinge (new one from else where) zoom in on upper pin in picture, can plainly see two (2) bushings! There is supposed to be 3 bushings on upper hinge (what picture is of) but two are on the main/actual pin for hinge. I'm not a car hinge expert, but I never have seen one (like this type) that only had one bushing and other autozone employee in Choctaw said that 1 bushing...

Daryl was a very nice associate for me but the manager, Debbie, was helping another customer put 2 batteries in his truck. Daryl asked her 3 times for a manager code and she ignored him the first time. The second time he asked, she said “ I’ll be there in a minute .” The third he asked she yelled “ I’ll be there when I can!” Couple of minutes later she came in a she put in her manager code , so that we can checkout. My entire wait was over ten minutes long and during that time two customers walked out. When I left there were four people waiting in line. Poor customer service from Debbie, not Daryl. I imagine it was an off day because every other trip I’ve been treated well, received the right parts and left the store...

When I say I absolutely love this location it's an understatement I have been searching all over for help with my battery almost every other place in town told me they were not able to help me or did not have what I needed I came in here just stopped on a whim and they had the battery I needed and the windshield wipers they also were able to help me get the battery put in and replace the wipers free of charge. I really appreciate and respect these men and women working in the store you can tell they have great leadership and they love doing what they do. This location is accessible off the main road the store is clean they have great parking and good hours working on a Sunday I will go there for all my auto...
