Cashiers and Manager. Will not even speak or greet black customer's! I generally shop here about two to three times a week as they usually have a great assortment have items to choose from that other stores don't necessarily have. The store is usually clean and most of the staff are pleasant. Today the vibe was off, the cashier asked the lady checking out in front of me if she needed cash back, she said no and then as soon as I got up there I was told there is no cash back, this is within a matter of 30 seconds. Now mind you I always use debit when I go to the store and have never requested cash back anyhow so I'm not even sure why that was told to me in the first place but if the prev customer was offered and declined, why wasn't the option available to me? I did contact the manager and she said I must have misunderstood because the cashier is sweet... To which I replied usually they are to their supervisor. It was just a weird transaction. But all in all it is a good location and they do have a good assortment of things to choose from that I actually do use and need daily so I will continue to shop there and hope and pray me and my family are not treated...
ย ย ย Read moreThe place and staff were not the problem. My problem was with the policy on seasonal items. I was told by a staff member that the Christmas bulb 5 ok was 1/2 off. I bout over 10 Christmas items. One I realized my total was over $40 I did a double check on the ticket and saw that I got no discount for the seasonal items. I understand that the one clerk was new so I got the idea that she doesn't really have everything down but I don't know how its acceptable to "quote" a discount and not honor it. The most irritating part is that I can't exchange or return any of the seasonal items. I was NOT told about that part until I was requesting a refund. Oherwise I would have never bought so many.
The supervisor on duty called her supervisor to ask what they can do and she offered to exchange them for store credit. I left frustrated because I had just purchased over $40 worth of stuff and don't need anything else at that point nor could I get a store gift card for credit.
