Truly hit or miss. I've had the worst cuts and the best cuts. More than once I finally found a good stylist only to have her leave, then start all over again going through them to find another one who isn't fresh out of school and "still learning" by "practicing" on your hair.🤷🏻♀️
Edit: I won't return to Trenz. Today I got the worst haircut of my life and went immediately to another salon and they fixed it. The cut was appalling. The right side was TWO INCHES longer than the left, the back was very crooked, the layers weren't blended in AT ALL and looked like shelves or steps in my hair. It was extremely choppy and crooked, like a lawnmower cut it.
The poor girl was nice enough but has no idea what she is doing. She saw the look on my face and I told her that the left side was longer. She "fixed" it by cutting too much off the left and making the right side longer. There was no sense in saying anything else because clearly she could not cut hair.
I could tell that she knows it because she asked me to come to her first if I "got home and saw any problems with the cut." So this is a common occurrence. I feel bad for her but you can't run a hair cutting business by employing people who can't cut hair. No more...
Read moreI saw Hannah Lawson for an undercut. Was a great experience. She is precious, cute and is willing to give you the cut you want and ask for. I appreciated her kindness and knowledge as this was my first undercut. I was a little nervous in some way but not bc of her. Bc it was my first one so in preparation I divided my hair where I thought I would want the hair cut off and used ponytail holders to keep it all together so that I could see what my hair would look like and feel like without that hair there. I did the best I could and I liked how it felt so I went forward with it.
Hannah has a cute little pixie-ish haircut herself so I really trusted that she would know what I wanted because her hair was similarly cut. When I looked up other hair salons I couldn't find somebody who had pictures of a haircut like I wanted so I called around and decided to go with Hannah. I feel I really made the best choice for what I wanted. She's good and I think you will be pleased with her. I would have taken a picture but I forgot to and since then I've done a little bit of a different style myself. I will update my review the next time I go see her. If you read this Hannah thank you so much for taking care of...
Read moreI had had a blonde ombre done and it had been 9 month of me growing it out and my natural color was showing through i wanted to keep most of my natural color and add some blonde face framing highlights and a couple highlights here and there.. The girl ended up dying my whole head blonde basically. I told the girl I didnt like it she said she would put more brown ontop and i didnt want just ontop I told her I didnt have any more money to pay her to fix it my family lives on a tight income and so this was a giant decision I felt really selfish doing but I wanted my hair done right so I wanted to make sure it would be so i figured paying a "professional" alot of money at a salon would guarntee me having good hair results. Im glad she offered to somewhat fix it but I wish she wouldve offered to put brown all over my head instead but I didnt even want to bother with it so I just said screw it and bought my own box dye and dyed it myself. My 20 dollar box dyes looked so much better and I honestly never wanna go to a salon again. 130 dollars...
