This town has lacked a great game store for decades. It's not enough for a comic shop to double as a game store (which is great too!) but you need a dedicated gaming store that supports its gamer base as much as the gamers support the store. It is great to see that they offer multiple major game systems and schedule events for the systems they sell as well. Walking into a game store and seeing nothing but statues and Funko is not what gamers want. They want tables, drinks, and staff that enjoys what they do. We had two players in the group who had never participated in a role playing game, a couple members with a lot more familiarity. He made space for questions and formulated the game based on the interests of the bride (murder mystery, Agatha Christie, Murder She Wrote, Columbo, ECT).
