China King — Restaurant in Harrisonburg

If I could give this place negative stars I would. We called to place our order at 7:40 something, the lady took it and told us it would be here in one hour. We waited and by the time it was supposed to be delivered it wasn't here. We called and the lady said she didn't have our order and the she didn't deliver to my area even though the menu said they did. I asked to speak to the manager and she kept saying he wasn't there. Finally I got to speak to the manager who apologized and told us they would make my food. I drove up to this place to go get our food because the guy told us it would take 20 minutes. When I walked in the lady ignored me and went to the back. I asked if our food was ready and she told us again that she didn't deliver to my area (even though there was a map of my location right behind her) and gave no discount (but we never asked for one). She then turned around and walked in the back again. When she came out I asked to speak with her manager again and she ignored me. I stood there waiting for a few minutes and then asked one more time. That's when she started flipping out telling me to leave, threatening to hit us with things and her hands, and slamming things. Clearly I left with no food, horrible service, and I called to police so they can keep and eye out for that place. I was completely disgusted. It was definitely the worst experience of my life. Walked in to order a quick dinner to go last night 11/16/23. The customer service was great. The food came out quick. That being said. I was able to hear them in the back taking things in and out of a microwave. Got home and while eating the food, the chicken was dry, the sweet and sour sauce was cold and more like gel than a sauce. Then about 10 minutes after eating had to spend the rest of the night as well as all of today going in and out of the bathroom. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY SUGGEST STAYING AWAY!!!!!!!! I order from PEKING CHINA in Elkton all the time, ask for EXTRA SAUSE on my chicken and broccoli and never had this issue. I was on my way past your place going home which is the only reason I got food from y'all. Wish I never did. The food didn't taste fresh and was horrible. I had to throw most of it away. Doesn't even deserve one star! Waited well over an hour for our delivery, just to find out they didn't place our order because we didn't give a room number. We are at a college where you need a swipe to get into buildings, so we told them we'll meet them out front. The lady got angry and rudely said "Oh my god" and proceeded to hang up! We decided to ride to the store to get our food, when we arrived she totally ignored us and proceeded to answer phones and go into the back. Since our experience over the phone we politely asked to speek with the manager. The lady got furious, started slamming things around and yelling at us to get out... We politely asked for the manager once again and she the decided to pick up a large tin box and was threatening to throw it at us.
