Butler Music is the best. I ordered a Lanakai QM-NACET Electric/Accoustic Ukelele from another party and they didn't check to see if it was available before they sold it to me. With Christmas coming and no Uke to be seen they eventually just gave me a refund. Wow! Was I in a pickle. I searched the internet for the Uke. I finally located possibly the last and only one out there through Butler Music store. I spoke with Andy. and told him my predicament and asked if he was sure he had it and he said yes....it is in my hands as we speak. I was still a little leery but purchased the Uke. He told me it would be to me in two days as they were close to us. I once again was leery, I called the next day because I had not gotten the ups tracking code. He said he would email it again and it was on its way but, I received no email. Yesterday on the second day after ordering the Uke UPS showed up in front of our house with the Uke. You cannot imagine how happy I was. It was my daughter's main Chistmas gift. How amazing was that and how amazing are you Andy for your wonderful and gracious service and for being a man of your word... You are not only music to my heart but to my daughters. When she sees the beautiful piece and plays it, she will be ecststic. My husband absolutely loved it as I did. Thank you for making our Christmas. God bless you all and Merry, merry Christmas to all who helped get the Uke to us so timely and in time for the...

Let me start by saying I have the upmost respect for everyone at Butler Music for a number of reasons but the primary one is, if anyone has been in the music biz (players, retail sales, production) at all at any level for any length of time. Your first impression from anyone at the store should be, they're very knowledgeable about what they sale and service. I don't know the owner Jeff or anyone else there as well as I know Jack but, I do know for a fact that they attend music industry product show's such as Namm and others to "stay in the now" for lack of a better term. I taught guitar there for a brief time a couple of years ago and was blessed with the opportunity to get to know Jack. I'm sure I drove Jack F'N crazy (if not all them) on most days. Jeff (the owner) struck me as the type of guy that would rather have lost a bit of money than to lose a customer. If memory serves me correctly, Butler Music also gives charitable contributions to the local schools and there music departments. With all of this being said, try not to be so quick to post a bad review of Butler Music (or any music store for that matter) unless you have had first hand knowledge of there day to day business. I do know for sure that everyone at Butler Music has worked for Jeff a minimum of several years. I wish everyone at Butler Music the best of luck with the new location in the coming years. God...

I worked my way directly to Butler Music after locating an autoharp online. I ended up calling and spoke with Andy, their manager. I had already had several disappointments from different vendors misrepresenting "display models" that were beaten up as "new", receiving models different from those represented, and finally said, "forget Amazon - just find a store and get a relationship going with them." I am so very glad I did. I emailed the manager, Andy, who got right back with me, then we spoke on the phone and I shared my experiences. He even knocked a little bit off the online price. They checked the instrument out thoroughly, and made sure that all was set up correctly and there were no issues before they shipped. I got the instrument and was truly extremely satisfied with their service, responsiveness, and help.

Additionally, (sadly) the instrument has a warranty problem and has to be shipped to the manufacturer. But Andy even facilitated that for me. I'm waiting for the return authorization label.

Thank you, Andy, and everyone at...

Don’t sell anything here unless you want to be ripped off. I was looking to sell my amp an Orange ad30 2x12 combo which just the head retails for around $2,000 new. Combo versions in rough shape are still selling at least $1,000 keep in mind mine was in great shape especially compared to the other ones you can find. I called ahead and was told they might offer around $750. When I got there, they acted like they didn't even want it then lowballed me with a $400 offer. When I questioned the offer and how they where finding it for so cheep they looked up Orange amp not even the right kind, they where all half the size and not even as rare plus even they where more expensive than what they said where finding them for. they got rude and acted like I was wasting their time, saying “seems like you know more then me I’m not interested.” Very unprofessional cocky and a complete waste of my time. Don't bother with this place unless you enjoy being ripped off and treated poorly especially if you’re trying to sell.

Butler sent me a damaged $1400 guitar via Amazon. Butler says I should keep the guitar as it would take months to replace. Their inventory shows they have one on hand. I did some digging and found several other people with the exact same experience. Damaged items being sent to unsuspecting customers, at full price, via Amazon. Avoid Butler music at all costs. The guitar was damaged after it left Fender, while at Butler Music, but before it was sent to me and they are acting as if they had no idea. Butler sells damaged items via Amazon to try to recoup some of their loss from damage on their sales floor. They will claim you damaged the item as a last ditch effort. This is fraud. This finish on the neck is obviously from slamming into another guitar with the same body finish. Record your reboxing in hd to avoid further ridiculousness and spread the word. Butler music will rip you off.

I live in Belton, so my two choices for music stores are either Guitar Center, which I despise, or Big Dude’s, which is 17 miles away and both stores don’t open until 11am. Fast forward after several google searches and now I’ve discovered Butler Music. I wish I had known about these guys sooner! Great prices and such friendly staff. Feels like the complete opposite from shopping at Guitar Center, which is exactly what I want from a music shop. I will definitely be back!
