Kid Cove — Local services in Hasbrouck Heights

We recently hosted our daughter’s 4th birthday party at Kid Cove, and we genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From our very first conversation, Jasmine was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and helpful. She guided us through every step—from choosing a time and theme to confirming the final headcount and add-ons—always with patience and flexibility.

The setup on party day was absolutely perfect. The space was bright, fun, and beautifully decorated with everything themed around our daughter’s favorite show, Paw Patrol. The balloon arch, decor, and activity tables were all thoughtfully arranged and made the whole place feel festive and welcoming.

Jasmine and her team made everything feel effortless. Even when we had a couple of last-minute additions on the day of the party, she didn’t hesitate—she quickly pulled together extra goodie bags on the fly, which was just one example of how truly accommodating she is. It’s a small, family-owned business, and you can absolutely feel that in the level of care and warmth they bring to what they do.

A special thank-you to Sarah, who helped during the event. She was amazing with the kids, stayed on top of everything, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time.

All in all, we felt like we got more than what we paid for—not just in the party setup and amenities, but in the experience itself. Jasmine and the Kid Cove team genuinely care, and it shows. Highly, highly recommend for any parent looking for a fun, stress-free party space that goes...

There aren’t enough words to describe how wonderful Kid Cove is. The best way to describe the experience is an upscale Chucky Cheese. The educational tools are a plus. There’s even a full party area with sink, fridge and counter space to put your food. The area with the balls is phenomenal…as a grown woman I was able to comfortably climb the steps to each one of the slides and come down with ease. It was actually so much fun that I want to say I enjoyed my time there more than the kids. The owners are very inviting and the staff Sarah was awesome: A young lady who did her job well in spite of the fact she could’ve been anywhere on Easter……one last thing I can’t leave out: one of the slides is an actual tunnel surrounded withLED lights. Unfortunately, my experience here is not worth a 5-star rating. Based on my visit, I think 3 stars is fair.

Pros:

Great place overall with lots of toys for kids to play with

Snacks available

Seating area for parents

Toy houses and ball pits that kids really enjoy

Cons:

Some areas were dirty (I’ll add pictures). For a children’s playground, it should be cleaned daily, especially since kids touch everything.

The biggest issue was the flooring. Some areas are uneven and lifting up, which makes it unsafe. I saw several kids fall, and even I tripped multiple times. This should definitely be fixed.
