Honestly I'm not sure what is going on in this location. We went in at 2pm on a Tuesday....not a busy time but there were 4 people impatiently waiting ahead of us. Just workmen stopping in for a quick bite, not big orders but those poor guys waited and waited for their food (drive thru was moving better but the guys said their van can't fit thru) other 2 were elderly. We weren't in a hurry so we stayed & ordered anyway. Food took a long time but it was good. My complaint is that everything is kept behind the counter now (I'm sure it was done 2 years ago for covid but still?) So you need to ask for salt, napkins and sauces & when you do, the woman gives you exactly 1 of anything you ask for. Now there was 4 of us & we had burgers, fish nibbles, mozz sticks & fries so we needed tom sauce, tartar sauce, lemon, ketchup & salt. She acted like I was trying to get stuff for free instead of the condiments that go with an order! She handed me 2 napkins & 2 ketchups for 4 people! Gave me honey mustard sauce instead of tartar then gave me attitude when I had to go back up to get the right sauce. If you don't want to hand out sauces then put them out so people can get them for themselves. If it's covid related then WHY is the communal soda machine being used? I watched someone reuse their cup getting a second soda, HOW is that OK but the napkin holder & ketchup has to be behind the counter? Oh well, it will be blamed on Covid or the supply chain or shortage of workers or the war in the Ukraine...getting tired of businesses...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI never knew White Castle Valentineās Day was a thing until recently. Something popped up on social media the day before V-Day, and there happened to be a White Castle nearby so I thought why not? Let me see if there are any reservations available (you have to make ressos via Open Table at participating White Castles), and there was one for 6:30!
I wasnāt sure what to expect but it was POPPIN. The dining room was full with a line of people waiting in hopes to nab an open seat. The concept is that you get a full dinner service and you choose from a menu of specials along with White Castle classics.
At the end of the day, itās still White Castle. Soggy oily sliders that will fill you with regret. But it was definitely an interesting experience. We talked to some people who said they used to come every year until Covid. Apparently, 2023 was the first time they brought it back since Covid.
This was more of a one-time thing for us but it was still cool, nonetheless. Just come in with low expectations. Thatās what we did and I think thatās probably why we had such a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband and I were originally thrilled with white castle adding the impossible sliders. We would stop at this establishment all the time because of them. That was until they recently changed the shape of the impossible slider after they ran out of stock of it a couple of weeks prior. All of the white castles, red robins, and other establishments that carry The impossible sliders and/or Burgers ran out more than likely due to supply and demand. When white castle brought it back, something changed. And it wasnāt for the better. I would normally get the value meal which included two burgers my husband would normally get either four or maximum five impossible sliders. The last time we went we couldnāt get past one each. They were so much thicker, dryer and the taste just wasnāt the same. I am happy though that Burger King started selling the impossible whopper because we were able to find another place to get our impossible fix. Iām not sure if other people are finding this to be the case, but I wanted to give my...
