Salt Coast Outfitters Hatteras — Local services in Hatteras Island

I just got back from this store ready to buy souvenirs for my whole family. There were 2 or 3 young girls in charge of the place. They were giggling loudly, on the phone, walking through the store rudely shouting they were closing. I actually thought they were patrons at first, and couldn't believe the staff was allowing them to hang out in the store. Other people shopping were appalled and most walked out without buying anything because of their behavior. I left without buying anything. I don't need to give my money to unprofessional rude people. To the owners of Salt Coast Outfitters: whoever was working the night of 8/4/22...

There are a bunch of chain OBX gear shops in the OBX, and most of it is just similar and meh, but Salt Coast in Hatteras Village is like a shining light...house.... They have really cool OBX stuff and a bunch of other nice items from a variety of brands. We got a bunch of great finds for everyone that don't look like everything at...

Purchased a swimming shirt for my daughter here and found that the stitching had come apart before she ever wore the shirt. Came back the next day to replace the shirt and was told it “looked worn” and they refused to replace the shirt. Don’t shop here! There are other stores at Hatteras Landing with much better...
