Don’t normally complain publicly about a business but this one needs to be shared. If you are going to The Outer Banks, do yourself a favor and skip this shop, A Seaworthy Gallery. 2 years in a row we walked in and were greeted with a scoff, as if the owner/worker was judging us on our looks. Well because of that last year I didn’t purchase anything but this year I got a beautiful hand crafted ceramic candle container and candle that smelled like the beach. Mind you this candle wasn’t cheap, but was something I wanted. The person behind the counter never even said thank you, have a nice day, nothing. She just collected my money and walked away. I am in Nags Head for the week, and tried to go there yesterday. Being the holidays, I went on line and saw that they were open. To be overly sure I called. No one answered, but the message gave their "current" hours and that said they were open. So we made the hour drive only to find it closed. This is not the first time this has happened.
