Sweet Seas — Restaurant in Hatteras Island

Oh. My. God. So good!! I had the Affogato with Nutella ice cream. You have to try it! The ice cream was the best ice cream. Creamy, rich, smooth, flavorful. And then topped with delicious espresso. These people care about quality. No skimping. And the owners are very kind. Offering multiple samples because they are proud of their delicious homemade ice cream. And they should! If I could have coffee and ice cream like that every day and not gain weight, I would! We are definitely coming back!

Update 1 year later, May 2025. Still as good as when they first opened! Or maybe better! Brian makes the best ice cream, espresso, and really cares about it all being the best quality! The whole family...

The fellow running Sweet Seas is very kind, and very good at what he does. He was able to accommodate my dietary needs and still make me something delicious! He was also infinitely patient and calm with a lot going on behind the counter. I’m sure we’ll visit again when we come back to Hatteras. :)

I have never written a review, but I felt like I needed to after my husband said it was one of the best ice creams he has ever had! He had mint chocolate chip, and my daughter loved her vanilla ice cream as well! I have dietary restrictions, so I can't eat dairy, but we were told that non-dairy options are on the way, which is super exciting! Staff was so friendly and inviting, and it was the perfect sweet treat! We cannot wait to make this place our go-to whenever...
