Staff is always pretty friendly. Last time I went (2nd time altogether), I had a newer barber. I shave my head, so all I really go in for is to get my beard trimmed and lined up - because I like the lines from a straight razor. . The newer guy was tasked with trimming it MUCH shorter than it's been in quite some time, and I had to point out several things that he missed or that were not even on both sides. . He had no issue fixing what he could, but there was also a spot at the very bottom/underside of my beard where it had been made uneven and "cut into" pretty badly. I didn't panic and he was able to make it less obvious, but he insisted that it was already like that when I came in and I KNOW that it wasn't - as I am VERY particular with my beard and simply know it wasn't like that already. It wasn't a huge deal and I still tipped him, but I guess it was just the principle of him not owning up to his error that didn't settle right with me. There is hope yet for a great haircut in Hattiesburg thanks to The Barber Studio! I swear, I almost gave up trying to find a decent haircut here but a friend recommended The Barber Studio and I will definitely be back. Not just a decent haircut, but a great one! Great haircuts, great prices, and great employees! I especially like that you can reserve an appointment online (Booksteam). The extra benefit of this is that, no matter what, they will dedicate a full 30 minutes to your haircut. No rushing you out the door (*ahem Supercuts *cough). Other facts: men's haircut is only $20. I’m a person that thrives off reviews of a business and I think that the Barber Studio needs a review. More specifically Thomas Pearson needs a review. Not only did I receive the best haircut in Hattiesburg by him, he was a great individual to spend an hour with. We conversed the entire time and he was super chill to talk to. Thomas heard what kinda haircut I wanted, but he basically analyzed my head like some robot and decided I needed a haircut slightly different and I couldn’t have been happier with the result.
