If I could give no stars, I would. The disrespect I just experienced over the phone was unbelievable. I spoke to the manager about services my wife received the other day and about how we were unsatisfied with the results. My wife wanted strawberry blonde and left with brown purple/pink hair. My wife is too nice of a person and still left a 20% tip. She explained to me how her hair was done and the first red flag was they washed her hair before bleaching it. She attempted to fix her hair at home, but was unsuccessful. She went back to the salon and asked them if they could help fix her hair. They took photos of my wifes hair and said they would show the stylist that did her hair and that they would get back to her. After a couple days my wife finally got ahold the stylist and was rudely dismissed saying that she never saw the photos and that no one told her to call my wife back. The stylist expected a full payment to fix the mistake that she caused to begin with. I called the salon to speak to the manager about how we wanted them to fix her hair and they had the audacity to say that my wife cursed at their receptionist and that my wife told them, "she got drunk and doordashed hair product and tried to fix her hair while drunk." Instead of coming up with a solution or compromise, they would rather lie about the situation and slander my wife's name. The moment the manager told me my wife did doordash I knew they would not be helpful or compromising and would rather be unprofessional about the situation. My wife and I have never used doordash or any similar delivery service.

If you were a person with color I recommend you not go to this hair salon. I completely trusted the people that were doing my hair and I thought that they would do a very good job like they have done in the past. I knew the consequences for going blonde but when I went back to touch it up Madison straightened my hair when it was still completely drenched causing my hair to fry. I have super curly hair and when she told me I was done my hair was still wet even though she had straightened it. I eventually had to go home and basically do my hair all over again. Then I started to realize when I was washing my hair that my hair was falling out. I went back to the salon and they gave me a free treatment with some hair supplies. The girls had told me that it was probably the shampoo that was causing my hair to be so dry and fall out but I got the EXACT shampoo that they told me to buy. It kind of made me mad that they were telling me that my hair was the way it was because of me when I was only doing what they instructed me to do. The treatment they gave me only made my hair fall out even more. Not to mention that same day Maddison defused my hair. It looked as if she had never defused a person with curly hair before. I left looking like a mess. Now I am left with awful hair, so badly my hair can’t even go up in a bun because the one half is so much shorter than the other. My husband and I moved to Havelock just over a year ago. Having moved every 3 or four years, finding a stylist in a new area has become one of the biggest challenges of every move, and I have had my share of disasters. Since the last disaster, I've been really reluctant to try a new place at all, but I had to do something. I couldn't take it anymore. So, I decided to give Bladz & Rayz a shot. Finally a PLEASANT surprise! I sent a photo in advance on fb, and Kaitlyn not only did a great job on the exact cut that I was looking for, but nailed the perfect platinum blonde. That's all it took. From the beginning she left no doubt about her confidence to do what I wanted. No questions, no worries, and more importantly No more disasters for me. As long as I'm in the area, there's no question as to where I will be going. Had I known how great this would turn out, I would have taken before and after photos. There's not enough stars on yelp to give her credit! Kaitlyn is the second stylist that I've ever had that I would let give me a cut or color of HER choice and know that it would turn out...
