IF YOU ARE A PERSON OF COLOR DO NOT COME HERE !!! MY GIRLFRIEND AND I CAME TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT ON A SATURDAY NIGHT , AS SOON AS WE WALKED IN THE DOOR WE WERE GREETED WITH A RUDE AND COLD STARE FROM EVERYONE AS IF THEY NEVER SEEN BLACK PEOPLE BEFORE AND ONLY BLACK PEOPLE KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT . NO ONE GREETED US OR TOLD US WHERE TO SIT , NO ONE DIRECTED US TO A TABLE OR INFORMED US WHAT TO DO EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS A WAITRESS WHO CLEARLY SEEN US WALK IN AND DECIDED NOT TO EVEN SAY ANYTHING . WE PROCEED TO STAND THERE AND LOOK LOST SO I DECIDE TO WALK UP TO THE BAR AND SEE IF WE CAN GET A TABLE THAT WAY BUT THE BARTENDER IGNORES ME EVEN THOUGH HE SEES AND KEEPS HELPING OTHER PEOPLE WHO OF COURSE ARE WHITE . I DECIDED TO LET THIS ALL GO AND GIVE THE PLACE A CHANCE SINCE IT WAS SO BUSY I THOUGHT MAYBE ITS A ROUGH NIGHT BUT SINCE NO ONE HELPED US WE PROCEED TO SELF SEAT IN THE FRONT OF THE ESTABLISHMENT RIGHT IN FRONT OF WHERE THE WAITRESS WAS SERVING AND WE WAITED FOR 15 - 20 MINUTES AND NO ONE CAME TO US , NO ONE SAID HI , NOTHING . THE CRAZIEST PART IS OTHER PEOPLE THAT WALKED IN 5-10 MINUTES AFTER US WHO WERE OFC WHITE PEOPLE PROCEEDED TO GET SEATED AND SERVED SO THATS WHEN WE KNEW THIS PLACE REALLY DOES NOT APPRECIATE ANYONE WHO IS NOT WHITE THATS WALKING IN TO THE ESTABLISHMENT . THE FACT THAT WE WERE WILLING TO GIVE THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT AND WAITED AND STILL NOTHING IS INSANE !! THE FACT THAT EVEN AFTER WALKING IN AT FIRST AND LOOKED AT WITH DISCONTENT AS IF WE WERE SOMETHING DIFFERENT...

Great menu for pub grub and decent beer list. Kind of small which gets crowded and difficult to find a path to the restroom when groups of 5 or more push tables together. Also, most of the tables are high tops with a couple of regular tables situated at the front. Service is really great and you get the feeling they really like being there. Great burgers if you can't decide on anything. The beer menu is a nice mixture of craft and regular beers along with seltzer, wine and mixed cocktails. Parking was a bit of a challenge the first time we visited. The small municipal around the corner on West Chester Pike was full and the larger lot further down the pike was also full due to the martial arts business had a class in session? Not sure but we had to park several...

Food was mostly very good. The exception was the "French onion bisque", which was like Heinz gravy in a crock.

GF ordered a cranberry margarita. What came out was essentially watery orange juice. Brought it to the bartender, who, with lots of eye-rolling attitude and huffing, "offered" to remake it. What he handed me this time was...IDK...Sprite with a drop of lime and cranberry? Neither was even remotely like a margarita or had even a discernable hint of tequila.
