We have been shopping online for a while now and had a pretty good idea of what we wanted to look at going in. Jeri, a kind and boisterous lady who has worked there for 18 years, greeted us at the door, but we weren't hounded as we shopped, which is what we had hoped for.
After we had traverse the floor scouting out everything from beds to dining tables to area rugs, we approached Jeri for assistance. She took down all of the items we were ordering, and was very open about the time it would take to receive our order. In our case most of the items won't be in for 6-8 months, but having shopped around I can tell you that is par for the course on the big island right now. 2020 disrupted a lot of shipments so outside the teak store, you just can't find many places with high quality furniture, it is all on back order.
After we had been rang up, they charged a 25% deposit on the order, with the rest due on delivery. All in all, feeling really good about the purchase, I'll try to update this after delivery which is likely to be in sep 2021... But possibly later.
Update: Welcome to Mar 2024. Going on four years later now, but we are repeat offenders at this point. Jeri is still our go to for purchases, and we know her well enough to have exchanged cat photos. šø
All of our orders have come in accurate and on time or earlier than anticipated, the delivery guys have all been super polite and respectful of our home. Absolutely nothing to complain about. After two years of use our wood bedframes look as polished as the day we received them. You won't find a better furniture store on this...

I should've known right there not to make a purchase or ever come back but giving the store a chance I went through with a purchase of a leather sectional, tv stand, coffee and end table. The delivery went alright so I went back to purchase my dining room set a couple months later. The person helping me rang up one chair, one bench, and the table. Gave me the price with the protection plan. I go over the paperwork and ask why there is only 1 chair... add $1200 plus more for the protection... the set comes. The bench is damaged. Still haven't received a replacement. This is where I should known for sure never to go back. It just gets worse. Went back a couple weeks later to purchase a bed. Purchased a split king. The employee told us it was 1 prices for the base. The delivery came well guess what? We have one bed on a base and one bed on the floor.... $2800 later. We have to pay for another base. The employee says he will schedule for the next available time which is suppose to be this Saturday. I call because I haven't received an estimated time for Saturday and another employ tells me it's scheduled for the next Saturday not this Saturday as promised. I am beyond upset. When I spoke to the manager regarding her 2 different employees mess ups she says there's nothing she can do but if we want to buy something else she can give us a small discount. Of course standard shipping is 4-6 weeks. I waited out the 4-6 weeks then I got no call to pick up my item. I called Courtney about 4 times and everytime I was told she would call me back, which she didnt. I called one last time before Id go into the stkre myself luckily she answered. Then then explained to me that my item was never shipped and that it will be another 4-6 weeks. (I was pissed) I told her to cancel my order to which she replied that she could get my item here within 3 weeks if that will work for me. Irritated, i agreed because I needed that bed frame for visitors. So I waited out the 3 weeks....one the 3rd week I got no calls. I waited an extra week.... STILL NO CALL! I called Courtney and her excuse was they have over shipped other items and mines wasnt a priority so it was pushed back one week. I decided to leave it alone... id give them this last chance and Id never order from them again.
