Pho’ Bistro really came through. Honestly, some of the best service I’ve had on the Big Island so far. My server Xander was awesome. Super friendly, kept checking on me, and made sure I had everything I needed without overdoing it. I got the beef pho and it was legit one of the best bowls I’ve ever had. The broth had so much flavor, more than I usually find on the mainland. It had everything I like in a good bowl of pho and nothing was missing. I wiped that thing clean. Not a drop left. If you’re in the area and craving pho, you’ve got to stop here. You won’t regret it.

This was my first time eating here and was so impressed! Very nice menu, reasonable prices , clean . Food presentation was beautiful and everything we tried was delicious! I ordered the beef stew pho and the meat was so tender and broth very savory . We also ordered the Vietnamese pancake which was really fun and different . The dipping sauce we just couldn’t get enough of . Can’t wait to come back and try other dishes. This is definitely a hidden gem in Hilo.

The place is very clean and spacious. Every dishes we tried are delicious. Especially their BBQ ribs, Kalbi, seafood jook, Vietnamese Shoyo pork, summer rolls, beef pho, shrimp spring roll noodles. The boss, Ellen is very friendly. Their staffs are very helpful and friendly too. Highly recommend this restaurant and will come back again.

I tried this location for the first time last night and it did not disappoint! I tried something I’ve never seen before, and I’ve eaten a lot of pho in a lot of places- pigs feet pho, it was very authentic and the lovely family that runs this restaurant made me feel special for ordering it. They made sure to bring me special condiments and showed me how to use them (I’m real white) and generally made us feel very attended to. The owner of the restaurant chatted with us for a bit and overall we had a lovely experience. The food was very authentic, the place had the “hole in the wall” vibes that i always look for in a Vietnamese restaurant, and I always enjoy patronizing a family run operation. Give them a try! They have...

Stick to the pho and you won’t be left disappointed. Waited over an hour (close to 1.5) to get our food. Server was incompetent, no water was provided, kept coming back asking what we had ordered. So why bothered taking down our order? He got drink order wrong too on top of that. Hu Tieu and Pho were good. Can’t say the same about bun bo hue and com tam/rice plate. Bun bo hue was very bland. 2 of our parties who ordered it left it untouched after a few bites. Rice plate was horrendous as well. Not using broken rice, tasteless meat, and no fish sauce. Mind you, we are a Vietnamese household, so yes we know what these food should taste like. Truly...
