One of our first outings when settling into our lodging for the week, and we didn’t need to go anywhere else but for beer! The sweetest little spot with the kindest, most knowledgeable, generous and enthusiastic owner, Jeremiah. We found all the fresh local seasonal items we needed and didn’t know we needed! And some gifts to take back, too. Coffee, nuts, fresh bread— even fresh catch Ahi was available that day! Your shopping here will be fun and interesting and colorful and most importantly, will support local people and their intentionally vetted and chosen farms and goods. The best of the best! It only adds to the magic of a Hawaiian stay. So much bounty and beauty offered in and around Kona area, and Jeremiah is honoring and sharing that. The fruit selection is unreal—sweet apple bananas, perfectly ripe papayas, liliko'i, guava, and avocado that is Unworldly! They carry coffee and macadamia nuts and fresh ginger and the list goes on and on...

You'll be greeted by the incredibly kind and knowledgeable Jeremiah. He will guide you through the fruit/vegetable selection and share tips and recipes for enjoying all the produce. Ask for his apple banana pancakes recipe which turn breakfast into something truly special.

I've become obsessed with this little market! It's such a good staple in the area - lots of fresh and local produce, fruits I've never heard of, and something new every time I come in. There are also lots of local products like Kona coffee, baked goods, vegan ice cream, etc. Some things are more expensive than in a big supermarket, but supporting local is worth it. Everything is health-focused and the staff are always super friendly and attentive - offering free samples and going out of their way to educate me on different fruits and vegetables.
