Kuilima Cove — Local services in Hawaii

This is my top choice for beach snorkeling on Oahu. I much prefer it to Hanauma Bay as it doesn't have all the troubles of registering, parking, sunscreen, etc. Convenient free parking at Turtle Bay resort, with a restaurant and showers (built into a tree🌴) on the beach. Umbrellas and chairs are also available for rental for $45 for 4 hrs or $60 for the day. My kids 5-13 loved it, and it was a highlight of our visit. Beautiful cove on the Ritz Carlton Turtle Bay property! Seriously so family-friendly with the cabanas, pool chairs, outdoor showers, and walk ways. On a sunny day this beach is calm and enjoyable but keep in mind that if the weather is cold and windy, just be cautious as there is no lifeguard on duty. Nice beach. Turtle Bay Resort basically backs right onto it, so a lot of resort guests. Good snorkeling considering how many people go theough everyday. Used the resort shower afterwards and was not challenged or questioned. Safe environment as this is a cove.
