I mean, it's a great, quick walk amongst many diverse local plant species, but it was a little disconcerting when one path took me out to what appeared to be a recycling storage area behind a grocery store, and another just randomly ended for no immediately apparent reason. I don't know the area well, so it's possible the tree blocking the path it a new occurrence, and I'm sure the curators are putting forth their best efforts which are greatly appreciated, so no judgement here. Nature is a dynamic and unpredictable thing, sometimes. I want to come back when the stream is full, because it feels like it would be a pretty magical experience. Read moreThis is a dog park And with no trash cans, I did not observe 1 person with a dog pick up their dogs feces, course without a trash can where are they going to dispose of their dogs feces. And there were tons of dogs. Chickens were everywhere, so between the dogs and chickens it was no a relaxing picnic.

Read moreThis is an easy, beautiful trail but the Google Map directions are bunk. DO NOT PARK AT THE SCHOOL/COMMUNITY CENTER. The trailhead is around the corner, behind the telescope center. While the park abuts the community center/school, it is separated by a small stream and what looks like a trailhead is actually private property.
