I remember how beautiful this park and the trail that runs through it used to be. About 5 years ago the little stream used to be full of water. There were gorgeous nasturtiums and morning glories everywhere. Today the stream is completely dried up and the little flowers are really struggling. There is a nice, grassy area with numerous shady picnic tables. However, it's weird that there are no restrooms, not even a port-a-potty.

It is quite and adorable park. You could grab some lunch sack or sandwiches and come with your family for enjoying the lunch or dinner. It's not big but would be good park that you could hang out with your family. There is not a trash can and nor a toilet. You need to bring out all the trash belong to you when you leave.

First time we went there and it was beautiful and tranquil. Little stream flowing, chickens running around and then of course then there's the nature part of it!

I mean, it's a great, quick walk amongst many diverse local plant species, but it was a little disconcerting when one path took me out to what appeared to be a recycling storage area behind a grocery store, and another just randomly ended for no immediately apparent reason. I don't know the area well, so it's possible the tree blocking the path it a new occurrence, and I'm sure the curators are putting forth their best efforts which are greatly appreciated, so no judgement here. Nature is a dynamic and unpredictable thing, sometimes. I want to come back when the stream is full, because it feels like it would be a pretty magical experience. Oh, and loved the 'Ohi'a especially with the liko lehua just...

This is a dog park And with no trash cans, I did not observe 1 person with a dog pick up their dogs feces, course without a trash can where are they going to dispose of their dogs feces. And there were tons of dogs. Chickens were everywhere, so between the dogs and chickens it was no a relaxing picnic.

There are NO restrooms! I saw a porta potty but no thanks

There isn’t a playground, the pictures on the website are misleading showing a playground

I am happy for people who want a dog park, but is not a park to...

This is an easy, beautiful trail but the Google Map directions are bunk. DO NOT PARK AT THE SCHOOL/COMMUNITY CENTER. The trailhead is around the corner, behind the telescope center. While the park abuts the community center/school, it is separated by a small stream and what looks like a trailhead is actually private property. We promised the owner of one of the homes that we would report it. He's tried to have it corrected...
