Blairsville's Ice Cream and Mini Golf — Local services in Hayesville

This experience was really disappointing. We had some milkshakes and ice cream which was great but the mini golf course needs urgent attention. We paid $25 for 5 people to play on a course that is rundown. There are weeds everywhere, fire ants bit us, and it needs a paint job. Blairsville deserves better. Edit: The owner replied to me almost immediately and I realized that my review was a bit harsh. I’m happy to hear that improvements have been made and that they were planning paint work in the future too. This place is a dive. They used to have an assortment of icecream options but now, they had like 6 basic options 👎. Then, when we bring up the fact that their Facebook post shows a free icecream with a game of mini golf for $5, they want to tell us that it's not that much. Ok, so we gotta pay a little extra, not a big deal. They advertise that they have new carpet, put in June of 2022. If that's new carpet, it must mean "new to them" because nothing about this place is new, or not divey. This is a fantastic little business that caters to families. The operators are friendly, fair, and provide a pleasant experience. The location is ripe for tacking the golf and ice cream onto the tail end of a BBQ lunch. If I were to make any suggestion about improvement, I'd say paint the place in flourescent colors and use black lights in the evening to add an extra degree of fun.
