Family Dollar — Local services in Hazelwood

My 13 year old daughter went into this location 2 times this day, I work at a establishment a few doors down the first time she went in there she went to purchases a I phone charger, they was out, the store clerk interacting with her try to help her find it then my daughter left the store. The second time my daughter went in there she wanted to purchase a robux reloaded card and they are placed right in front of the cash register my daughter was wearing the same thing she had on the first time she went in there a hoodie with a hood it was 15 degrees outside the cashier told my daughter she couldn’t be in the store because she was wearing a hoodie when multiple ppl went in with hoodies coats etc. my daughters isn’t very verable to ppl she doesn’t kno. But my daughter did ask is there someti did wrong the lady said no you just can’t be in here so after yelling at my daughter telling her to leave the store she then escorted her out. I waited 2 days to speak to a manager when I did speak to the manager of course it was my child fault she shouldn’t of wore a hoodie in the store so I said there is no way ur employee felt threaten by my child standing there looking for a Roblox card especially when she helped her out about a hr ago! Smh so beware of this location they are rude and mean to your kids the manager condones this type of...

I wish Rachel was here she had this store running awesome. This does not even deserve a star. Every aisle is filled with boxes and crates nothing is cleaned up, there was ahorrible raw sewage smell throughout the store. I went in for two things, dog and cat food. I was lucky enough this time that there was something there, normally there is a cart with the supplies like "Find it yourself... good luck!"

This is a horrible way to run a store, not only that the service was horrible never even got a word in because the woman at the counter was too busy facetiming her friends at a part to even look up.

I was helped, but not by someone who works there, I was helped by a woman who was purchasing things too.

WORST customer...

Walked and immediately asked about a product. I had to interrupt the cashier's conversation with another customer. The cashier started pointing to the location, back of the store. I mentioned I'm visually impaired and insinuated if she or someone could take me to the location. She rudely turned her back on me and walked away. She came back to repeat her directions. I made my way to the location. I eventually found the product I was looking for. I m know not everyone is this rude, but I hope she isn't there if I come back. Not all disabilities are obvious, please teach your employees this when working...
