Maxi Beauty Supply — Local services in Hazelwood

Normally I would recommend the store to anyone but today I am disappointed. Bought some locs due to the color being hard to find at the Lindbergh location. As soon as I walk out a lady who happens to be sitting outside informed me that they have another location. Wasn't aware of this and the sales lady that i asked for assistance about the hair did not inform either of a second location. So I drive to the one near the former Kmart and I found the same hair in a better condition. I found the same number of packs and asked the salesperson if possible to do a swap out for the exact same item. She said due to the virus no. I'm like it went into my trunk and I directly drove here. She still said no. So I put the hair back and walked out. Had I been informed of the 2nd location I would have held off my purchase of the hair until reaching the 2nd store. Won't return...

What is saw in the store is the reason I will not be patronizing this business again. I went to pickup a few needed items from the beauty supply and everything was fine. There was a mother shopping with her children. Her daughter was messing around and opened one of the lip glosses (the kind in the tube, with no wand). The owner saw it and got it from her. The owner then got a paper towel and started to clean the lip gloss tube off and then the inside of the top then proceeded to place it back on the shelf for sale. This is pure NASTY and very unsanitary. As easy as she did that she probably have done it before. I'm quite sure that a lost of one lip gloss wouldn't have broken their bank. This is an item that you use on your lips, and she just wiped it off, put the top back on it and put it back on the shelf to sale like it was ok. Be aware of what you buy...

They really need to change thier hours if they are just going to close whenever they feel like it and not have a sign up.. thier was a group of people outside when I walked up. I thought they were just talking but even 20 mins before closing and the OPEN SIGN Still lit up..the employee was just sitting at the counter swinging her feet.. she sent people away until 8pm and pointed to her invisable watch.. but didn't turn off the sign til 8pm but looked at us like we were stupid for coming. They closed 5-10 mins early several timrd before and I just feel like they might aswell change the hours. So that's my last time playing with them.. especially when it's not like an a sign or...
