The Great American Hot Dog & Seafood — Restaurant in Hendersonville

First visit and last visit. 2 hungry grandkids and a packed Hot Dog World is the reason we paid this restaurant a visit in the first place. The food was outrageously over priced. Cheeseburger was raw inside. Fries were overcooked. Tea was awful. They should have cooked the burger more and the fries less. The owner did come out and ask to cook another burger and said "give me a chance to make it right" My thought on this.... we did give you a chance, we came into your restaurant and paid way too much for cheese burgers/hot dog and a corn dog and the burger comes out raw?.... No thank you, the chance to impress your customer has come and gone. Then to add insult to injury; after I got home and looked at my bank card receipt (which I had to ask for) I noticed they added an additional charge for "Non Cash Adjustment" . 2 things upset me about this. #1 They could have run this card as a debit, cashier did not even give me this option. #2 There is NO prior notification that I would be charged an additional fee for using a card instead of cash. VERY POOR way to conduct business. I have no problem paying for quality food and service. We did not receive either at this business. I knew I should have waited at Hot Dog...

Where to begin... the place I work ordered food from there yesterday. We place a 40 dollar order and all was well up until we picked it up. They forgot to put an order in the bag (including fries) and we called to tell them they forgot something. Very nice girl when we called back btw. Had to drive back and pick up the food and the guy that helped was very rude. Told him that we needed the food so he handed us the food. We told him that we needed fries and he argued saying we didnt pay for them (which we did but didnt bring the receipt back the 2nd time) At this point, it was so aggravating and we were late from lunch break from making 2 trips so we just left.. not gonna argue with a worker over fries. Looks to me like he could have just given the fries for the inconvenience of driving back across town. Just very disappointed overall with the customer service here. The food itself is great but they are lacking in the respect dept. Got back to work to finally eat and they give us 2 KNIVES to eat soup with. Really? Please slow down and double check the bags. Couldn't eat lunch yesterday bc I had no silverware at work. Overall bad...

We have eaten here for several years and have been very pleased until today...I don't know who the woman that took our order today but she was the rudest person we have ever met. I ordered a Carolina dog and my wife ordered a house salad. I asked my wife if she wanted to split an order of Fries and Onion rings and she said yes. So I ordered a 50/50 of fries and rings and two drinks. $31.27 for a hot dog and a salad with two drinks and 50/50 fries and rings. When she brought the meal I asked her why was the bill so high and she said that I ordered separate orders of fries and Onion rings and I said I wanted the 50/50 order she told me that I ordered separate orders and I told her that I didn't she said that's what she heard and turned and walked away. So just a word of advice if you go into the restaurant and there is a short woman with short white hair turn around and leave before you get ripped off. I will not return and that's sad because we really did like the food there. It's a shame one rude person ruined the...
