This was completely misadvertised and disappointing. Over $150 for three adults and of course free for my grandson. Yes there were some small rides open for the little ones but it's quite cold for rides. Yes there were some food areas to spend more money but nothing where you could sit down inside. Where were the reindeer? We saw where Santa was but I feel that it was mean and wrong that you had a child who was disabled and could not talk speaking through a laptop asking for you to spend money to get the picture taken. People that are disabled should not be used for financial gain and to have to tell this person no was heartbreaking and uncomfortable. Here we thought Candy Cane Lane was like this whole special thing until we arrived and the extremely disgruntled workers were like nope it's just Hershey park. When we went to park our car and asked that gentleman where Candy Cane Lane was we were told it's in Hershey Park and you're in Hershey Park so where do you think it is. So basically we paid full price to walk around a small area that had Christmas lights and there was some Christmas music playing. if I wanted to do this I would do it in the summertime and not worry about the lights. Don't waste your money there was nothing special whatsoever...
Read morePLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! They are just robbing you of your families time and money. The park was so crowded that you could barely even move around walking. Most rides were not open so there was no where for people to go. Lines for food, rides, and pretty much anything there was to do in the park was an hour & a half + wait time. I’ve been to a lot of parks and never saw anything like this. For our family and family friends we paid $600 plus parking $20 per car. Not to mention a hotel bc we live 2 hours away. My 8 year old rode one ride. The rest of us rode 2. JOKE!!!! Even the fast pass lines were long which made people with regular tickets almost impossible to ride anything. I had a bunch of disappointed kids. Maybe a limit on capacity when not even half the rides are open would be ideal for people to actually enjoy their time at the park. Until then we won’t be returning. The chocolate factory wasn’t any better. Good thing we got in line at 10 and waited an hour until they opened to be the first people in or that would have been equally...

I decided to spend a weekend in Hershey and take the kids to Hersheypark in December. I didn't realize that they only operate a small number of rides, and even the ones that are "supposed to be" opened are actually closed.
Because so few rides are open, there's a long wait for them. The monorail, sky ride, kissing tower, and tilt-a-whirl had waits of 45-60 minutes. The tilt-a-whirl!
We were lucky to "only" wait an hour for the Sooper Dooper Looper. Usually when I go in the summer the wait is 5-10 minutes. This time it was 60-120 minutes!
Wildcat was closed. Candymonium was closed at least part of the day. The Triple Towers were closed because it was cold (in PA in December! Imagine that!). The other roller coasters were already closed for the season.
In the 5 1/2 hours we spent there we went to the zoo, the arcade, the Sooper Dooper Looper once, and the teacups twice. That's it. $200 so my family could go on three rides!
Skip this one, unless you like paying a lot of money to...
